"Please do yourself a favor and choose a different dentist. At best, Dr. Edward Adourian is an incompetent dentist -- at worst, he's a grifter. On my first visit to establish care, this dentist told me I had a cavity on the edge of a crowned tooth and would need the crown replaced ($1325). A second opinion, however, confirmed that the black dot was simply a broken capillary on the tooth due to prior trauma -- no decay. At my next appointment for a routine cleaning, I was told that Dr. Adourian had scheduled me a deep cleaning for gingivitis ($910) -- but not to worry because insurance would cover it. Well, with no pre-authorization and no deep pockets or history of gum disease, that was simply untrue, so I declined the service. That's when things got weird. Three different people in the office made a point of explaining why I'd been booked for this unnecessary procedure in the first place, and each had a different story that made no sense. It was obvious that they were trying to cover their tracks. Bottom line: You deserve a more reputable dentist than this."
