"I have gone to Veronica Crawley in the past and have had great experiences with her, but my last visit and the billing afterwards has left me very discouraged and angry. I had my yearly physical that is covered by insurance and recently got a bill for an additional cost from the Well of Health. I had no idea what this was for and called the office and was told it was because I asked about something related to my health. I was told this was not part of a normal physical and it should have been scheduled as a follow up visit but because she had the time it was lumped into my physical. I truly only asked a couple questions that lasted about 1 minute and hardly got any answers, more just a quick conversation. If I had known I would have been left with another charge I never would have said anything as they weren't even big issues. Veronica even asked me in the appointment if there was anything else I had questions about, but never said anything about it not being a physical appointment or the fact that I would be charged for a modified physical because of it. With my past visits with her and every other doctor's appointment in my memory I have asked a few questions and never been billed additionally for it. My insurance won't cover the change because it was billed differently by The Well of Health, even though it was a normal physical. I called once before and left a voicemail about it and I guess Veronica said it was billed how she intended it to be billed, though I was never given a callback so I didn't know she ever got the message. I really feel like I was tricked into a modified appointment so they could make more money on it. I spoke with the office manager Amanda and I'm so disappointed in how I was told they couldn't help with anything and wouldn't reach out back to Veronica to help with the situation. It seems as though they are taking advantage and it makes me sad to think about what other people have been made to pay and were told nothing about it up front. This past appointment was like any other appointment I have had but it feels like now they are not really trying to help you and will bill differently because they are a separate office and not under TriStar anymore. I will not be going back."
