MMC Now Family Walk-In Clinic

"Staff was very professional and got me in in less than 45 minutes without an appointment. I was very grateful cause I was feeling horrible. Nurse practitioner went over the results of my test and prescribed medication to make me feel better and even gave me some tips on things to make me more comfortable during this time. Covid is no joke! But I'm feeling better already!"

"Great experience! Minimal wait time. Personnel were very pleasant and compassionate. The whole experience was money well spent. Will be returning if needed in the future. We live approximately 35 to 40 minutes away, but the drive was well worth the amount of time the doctor spent with me for my care. To all personnel in this office, “Well done”!"

"Editing my review because I spoke to Diana, who I believe is a manager. She took the time to actually listen to my concerns. She agreed that I did not get proper care. She told me she is going to speak with all involved and make sure there is proper training. I will not be charged for my visit, and while it doesn’t take the hospital bill away, at least I won’t be paying for both. I do not trust this facility enough to return, but I appreciate that she took ownership, allowed me to feel heard, and agreed to make changes. I went in this morning for major throat pain. The nurse barely swabbed me and I commented on it, wondering if the results would be accurate. They assured me it would be fine. The doctor came in and my results were negative. The doctor said my throat looked angry “but not strep angry”. They refused to give me anything to help with the pain. The pain got to where I couldn’t stand it and I came to the hospital. I got swabbed again and tested positive for strep. So, now I have an expensive hospital bill and I’ve wasted emergency room resources because I was dismissed at this walk in clinic. At least this time I’m going home with an antibiotic and pain medicine."

"Updating My Review: I am updating my review to give 5 stars because today (January 30, 2024), I walked in and was greeted instantly by the team and they got me in and out within 15 minutes. The doctor was super friendly and there were 2 women shadowing her that were so sweet and helpful. One of them gave me a vaccine and it didn’t even hurt. Great job! In my subjective opinion, this is the WORST clinic. I recently moved from DC so I guess my standards are higher but this clinic is egregious. I called today to get clarification why my test results weren’t back.I called because I literally went to Ascension Saint Thomas Urgent Care after coming to MMC Now and I literally got my results back from Ascension Saint Thomas faster than MMC Now. I spoke with Emily today and she was rude and condescending. She went on a tangent about how MMC Now is not an urgent care so results take longer and that someone explained that to me previously. I am privy and cognizant of what an urgent care is but I thought MMC Now could get results back in a timely manner. As she tried to berate me on the phone, she said “oh your results actually came back today”. So in conclusion, she tried to school me on how MMC Now isn’t an urgent care and their results take longer but guess what? My results were in and they just didn’t look. Horrible experience and incompetent."

"I arrived early to my scheduled appointment to make sure I complete any necessary paperwork. Upon arrival I was explained that because I have Tenncare, I cannot be seen there. I notified the receptionist of my primary insurance (not tenncare) but was explained that it still did not matter as it would be fraud to not bill Tenncare since it’s my secondary. I returned to the window just to have her confirm and she was kind enough to make the necessary phone calls to confirm that I could not be seen. I’m still confused as to why they couldn’t see me because it turned into being that I don’t have a primary care physician with them, which I do. It was just very confusing as I’ve used them before, with same insurance, and I use MMC for my primary care, OB/gyn, and peds for all of my children."
