"The nurses need more training w inserting IV’s. One nurse tried 2 times for my good vein and it didn’t work and she said she was a previous Er nurse and the 3rd time was the charm done by the anesthesiologist . My husband had a bad burning and swelling in his arm when the pre op nurse put in IV line. When the Anesthesiologist put the sedation into IV he had bad burning and swelling and the anesthesiologist put in néw line. Dr. Mertz was great. We loved his personality. He spent time w us discussing results and we were most appreciative. You could use a bigger waiting area w TVs , WiFi, coffee for guests and or water and prevention measure brochures to read. Furthermore, larger rooms for changing clothes in pre op area and more locker spaces. It would be nice to see gowns in a more secured area like in a cabinet or each paper gown individual wrapped due to covid. When I was there all the gowns were just placed out in open. Have only one gown in changing room at time and that way all the other gowns are not touched due to covid. Thanks."
