"PA Lydia and the Boro Clinic have been absolutely amazing and truly lifesaving for me, my daughter, and my mother (3 generations!) who have suffered for years, undiagnosed and gaslit from other medical organizations, with highly complex symptoms from Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and related commorbidities (triad) Pots, MCAS/HaT, etc. PA Lydia and her staff are always warm and welcoming and understanding of the challenges hEDS patients face, but most importantly PA Lydia is an extremely intelligent and skilled PA and KNOWS WHAT SHE IS DOING!!!! I have been labeled as highly complex and nicknamed the “Medical Mystery” from top doctors and organizations in Nashville resulting in a circle of seeing specialist after specialist for years with little to no answers. I am NOT a medical mystery at the Boro clinic! I am able to walk in with complex symptoms and PA Lydia is able to identify the source of the problem instantly and accurately (it’s amazing!) and focus on an active treatment and recovery plan, or get me to the right specialist or physical therapist that knows about the condition and how to treat it.. for me this is extremely valuable so that I can focus on healing and managing my health problems. I can’t thank PA Lydia and the Boro Clinic team enough for treating my entire family and giving my daughter the opportunity to receive treatment and help at an earlier age so that she doesn’t have to go through the cycle that my mother and I have endured and can focus on healing and managing her life as she navigates her way through college. KNOWING IS EVERYTHING! Thanks PA Lydia and the Boro Clinic!!"
"Lydia is amazing and wonderful, she listens to you and cares about your well being. I have a lot of complex issues, many doctors don't know what to do with me, but Lydia took me under her wing. Her whole staff is amazing and compassionate. I am so thankful I found her, I drive an hour each way to see her and she even provides Telehealth appointments to help make my life easier."
"Extremely disappointed with my care here. I will start by saying that the staff were extremely kind throughout my experience here. Below I am listing a timeline of my service here so far. 10/6/23 - This was my initial visit at Boro Clinic. Lydia was fantastic and very thorough. We decided to do genetic testing at this visit, and left a blood sample for them to send off. I was told it would be 3 weeks until results came back. 11/8/23 - I reached out via email. I received a response that day letting me know that my tests were still pending. 12/4/23 - Checked in again via email, and Lydia granted me access to the genetic testing portal so that I could login to check progress. 12/5/23 - I found that my DOB had been incorrectly entered into the lab’s system, and the lab had lost/not received my sample taken on 10/6. I reached out to Boro Clinic that day to try to collect some information on my sample so that I could relay the information to the lab so that they may try to locate my sample. No response. 12/12/23 - Reached out again to Boro Clinic for my sample information. No response. 12/13/23 - I call Boro Clinic and the receptionist offered go have a new sample kit sent to my home. I accepted. 12/17/23 - I received an email from Boro Clinic saying it should be fixed. 12/19/23 - I receive and send out the new sample kit. 1/4/24 - I see on my portal that the results have been sent to Boro Clinic for review. 1/5/24 - I call to see if they have received the results, but they had not. 1/15/24 - I reach out again via email asking about my results. No response. 1/22/24 - I call Boro Clinic again to ask about my results. They confirmed they did have them. I asked when I could expect a call about the results, and they let me know it would be about a week. It is now 2/12/24, and I have not received any results or communication from Boro Clinic. It has now been over 4 months since my initial visit when we were supposed to have answers within 3 weeks. I have tried to be understanding, as I know that everyone here is very busy, but I feel that communication is severely lacking at this clinic."
"Lydia is truly a miracle worker, especially if you’re apart of the EDS community or just chronically ill/ disabled. She is open minded, communicable, patient centered and just overall doing t more than she can for her patients. Just like every place you go there’s going to be pros and cons. But I believe the pros out weight the cons greatly. But with that being said, here’s my list of pros/cons Cons: If you’re having prescriptions filled make sure you state what pharmacy they need to go to from the very beginning. Plan to be waiting longer than expected when you’re at your appointment. Sometimes I’ve been on time and have had to wait 30+ minutes. (It’s not the clinic's fault our medical system is overwhelmed and under staffed.) If you want to know about lab reports, imaging, testing, etc., as soon as possible I would plan on calling and following up. I feel that sometimes the office can be struggling when it comes to following up about these things. Pros: You will be believed, you will be heard, you will be seen and most importantly you will feel safe here. I find these factors here to be monumental for receiving appropriate and fair medical treatment. Overall though, life changing experience are a 10/10. I don’t know how to thank the clinic here enough."
"This was the first place I found to use as my primary care when I moved here to Murfreesboro. From the very beginning, I noticed that they do not follow up with patients in a timely manner. When test results come in, Pathgroup notifies me and I have to call this office days later just to verify everything is okay. For example, my results from Pathgroup came back on Wednesday and it's Friday with no call (I ended up calling and the lady on the phone said I might get a call back from the nurse on Monday. I insisted on speaking with Lydia). Lydia is a nice person and very amicable however the communication at this office is lacking so I will be finding another primary care."
