"I have dealt with many healthcare professionals over the years but never have I encountered a healthcare professional as unprofessional and rude as the internal medicine nurse Kristen (Dr. Scott’s nurse). I am not sure how she thought speaking in such a manner was necessary or even close to ok but I was talked down to and treated horrible for no reason whatsoever. I know this nurse to not be friendly, which is fine, but being rude for no reason is not."
"This is the worst medical facility I have ever dealt with. I waited 5 months for an appointment with a Rheumatologists. I called the day of the appointment being non symptomatic and almost over Covid but I wanted to be safe for their sake. They say I showed up at the appointment and I had to get a new referral. The wait has been many more months with an appointment this week and the office is now trying to reschedule months away with no appointments available."
"The lab and administration office need to work on their communication skills on how a patient is billed and how the process is supposed to work. Brook in administration should find a new job, as it is my opinion she is not there to listen to patients, nor does she care."
"If I could give zero stars I would. Over charged every single time I went. Talked to like I was an idiot. Would never listen to what I had to say. Would refuse to see me when I was sick, told to go to a walk in clinic. Wouldn't call in a prescription knowing I have a history of sinus infections and it was the holiday. Then to top it off didn't even know what prescriptions they were prescribing me. This place is the dollar tree of medical care."
"I hate leaving bad reviews. However, I really just felt like I had to in this situation. This facility is actually beautiful, all the doctor Chesney and his nursing staff were all very friendly when we originally started visiting. A few times I felt like we were receiving different answers to certain questions we asked, obviously there is a range on some things. We didn't have a huge issue with this, however have a major issue with a misdiagnoses that was given to us. They informed my wife and I that she had Alpha Thalassemia, a rare genetic disorder that typically leads to loss of pregnancy, and serious issues for the pregnant women after. They acted quickly scheduling consults with high risk doctors and other specialist, but needless to say my wife and I didn't sleep much for a couple days. Then the genetic expert called us to go over out results specifically, we were immediately caught off guard by how joyful she sounded. She went on to tell us, everything came back great, after a few seconds of shock I interrupted. Asking about the condition we had been told my wife had. She seemed quite confused. She then informed me the tests we had done test for that specifically, and she did not have that. We then immediately called the doctors office to ask. We were greeted by a very friendly nurse, who asked about some of the issues we had been having. Before speaking about the mixed results, my wife informed her she had been experiencing dizziness, the nurse immediately reacted in a way that sounded very concerning, and basically asked us if we would be able to come in immediately. We immediately rushed in, once we sat down with the nurse, she went on to talk about how serious this could be with alpha thalassemia... Feeling very confused about how it felt no one had communicated, I immediately interrupted, asking if my wife had this, the nurse insisted that she did. I told her about the conversation I had with the genetic expert. She then told us that she saw her results personally, and it says that she does have this. We asked her to double check, really wanting to get to the bottom of this. When she returned she brought the results in, she immediately apologized, she had misread our results. She was very remorseful, I could tell she felt awful. We were so relieved, that we really didn't have much to say when we saw Dr. Chesney. Once we got home and got a second to breathe, we realized our doctor didn't really acknowledge what happened at all. We began to wonder if he had even been told. Everything about the situation just felt like it wasn't handled correctly. A diagnoses like this really shouldn't be given over the phone, or by his nurse. I understand people make mistakes, but it seems very odd that our nurse and doctor saw our results and both misread it the same way. I really felt our doctor should at least explain to us how this happened. We called about a week later to ask for some clarification, we spoke to their office manager who again was really sweet, but again explained she had not heard about this situation at all. It was never reported, no one had communicated this situation with her at all. We really started to wonder if maybe a nurse just made a mistake, and was too embarrassed to inform anyone. We asked her if our doctor was aware of the situation, and if he was, would it be possible for us to see another obgyn in the same facility. She actually got right on top of it, she called back in about 30 minutes. She informed us that the doctor was aware, and he felt our nurses apology was enough. I really didn't need an apology from him, but it would of been nice to have him at least acknowledge the situation. She also went on to inform us that he would prefer for us to see another doctor going forward, but wouldnt refer us to another facility. My wife is currently almost half way into her pregnancy, we no longer have a doctor or a place to deliver our first child. I understand people make mistakes, but take ownership, and don't penalize us for mistakes you and your staff made. Feels very ridiculous!"
