"This place was a great start for my husband, but unfortunately came to a negligent end. There was no communication made giving him instructions on follow up visits. When his prescription ran out, he made several attempts to contact and request a refill. He eventually went several days without his medication and if you know how chemically dependent you become and how miserable it makes you if you stop cold turkey, you know that is very poor service and negligent on the part of the med provider and the facility as a whole. When he caught his provider in the "waiting room" which I guess is like a live video, she brushed him off and told him to use the portal because she was about to see another patient. The "portal" is above human decency and phonecalls. We won't be back."

"I've heard great things about the quality of Athena Care's practice. My psychiatrist moved to this office and gave me their phone number to transfer care in early December. I've called numerous times, left voicemails, sent text messages, sent a request on their website, etc., and have not been able to get on the phone with anyone to get me an appointment. On the menu options when you call, there was a number to press to get "expedited scheduling" with my doctor, but that did nothing to help. I'm running out of my meds and will have to start all over with a new psychiatrist because I cannot get a hold of anyone. I am deeply disappointed because I had a great rapport with my doctor and felt that she really understood my needs as a patient. I know demand is high for mental health care right now, but my psychiatrist and I were both told the scheduling process would be quick and easy for her existing patients."
