"First two years with Dr. C were amazing. The following 6 months after him leaving have been unnecessarily difficult. From five, seven, even 12 business days to get a prescription refill sent, messages to care providers ignored, to no notice or explanation of refills being suspended for medication for months, even while sitting 3 feet away from my care provider for a routine visit, without a word said about it. If you are a young to middle aged male, looking to improve your quality of life by seeking even the slightest amount of help with mental health, I strongly advise avoiding this clinic and Vanderbilt as a whole. Unless you get lucky with someone like Dr. C, who understands all people are different and weight loss doesn't cure every affliction, this system will not help you and may even cause more harm than good. I am leaving the clinic and vanderbilt, as part of what I suspect is a trend of people like myself, finding help elsewhere. This experience has made me second guess myself seeking help in the way I think is best, but a higher quality of life for myself is obtainable in such an easy manner, when I find a care provider that wants to help. In all honesty, I'm just tired of the hassle, and stigmatization from this clinic, for seeking medication that truly benefits me and the people around me in my life that I care about. I'm tired of feeling like what I presume an addict feels like, badgering and begging to be helped, just to be ignored or told no in an unprofessional manner. Check your own blood pressure and weigh yourself once a month, and you are now getting the Vanderbilt treatment. "I was surprised that the review is low for this clinic. This is where my husband and I go for our primary care. Dr. Cumberledge is very nice, listens to me really well, suggests treatment for my symptoms. The staff are friendly and move quickly. The nurses are very professional and caring me so well when I was nervous about blood tests. Their nurse was so good so I almost did not feel anything during the process to be taken my blood. I am not a native English speaker but the doctor and nurses are very patient to understand me. My husband is very happy about their treatment too. If you create “my Vanderbilt account”, you will get the test result maybe within the day or at least next day. One suggestion is when you are going to take the blood test, you should drink some water before the appointment so the nurse will find your blood vessel quickly!"
