Reviews of 3 Thirty 3 Nail Bar
"I got my nails done here a week and a half ago. I called ahead of time to ask for the price for regular dip powder with no tip. They quoted me $45 and so I decided to go in. When I went to pay the lady charged me an extra $10 just to take the dip off. Nobody mentioned anything about a dip takeoff charge. I have never ever been to a nail salon that charges you to take the dip off if you’re getting a new dip set done there. The only time I’ve ever seen someone charge you to take it off is if you’re only taking it off and not having dip done again. Nobody mentioned this when I had called and I thought it was really unprofessional that it doesn’t say anything about that on their services information. It’s just bizarre why you would charge me to take it off if I’m getting a new color done there. It only makes sense if I’m taking it off and not getting my nails done again. Why wouldn’t you just put that in your total price instead of making it look cheaper than it really is and then sneaking that cost up on people when they go to pay. Also please just look at the state of my nails after a week and a half. I have never ever had dip done and had it last a week and a half with this many nails chipping. My nails always last at least 3 weeks anywhere else I’ve done dip and rarely ever have any chipping issues. . Absolute worthless job done and a waste of money. I definitely don’t recommend you getting your nails done here."
"I absolutely love this place. It’s clean, has fair prices, and they do a good a wonderful job. I only do manicures with Ivy and I do pedicures with whoever because they are all great. I’ve been coming to this salon for year and I’ll never go anywhere else."
"Needed to find a new nail salon in Irvine and received this place as a recommendation. It did NOT disappoint!!! Ty did my nails (Gel X) and May did my pedicure and they both did an amazing job! Very professional, they give you a glass of rosé if you want and other non alcoholic beverages, salon is clean and beautiful. Staff super friendly and lots of different color options! Highly recommend this place and ask for Ty or May!!"
"Extremely poor attitude received from both manager and contractor nail technician today. DO NOT TRY this salon for any service ever. Today I came back to this salon to do my nail repair within 7 days after my first service received last week. Only the nails on my first finger and middle finger on my right hand were broken within 7 days, so only 2 out of 10 needed repair. My nails are white, and there are two very similar white colors on the color board, so I wasn't sure which one it is. But when I showed the nail technician and the manager my nail, they cannot tell which color it is. It is extremely unprofessional that they cannot recognize the right color that they put on customers everyday, and it is only the start of my frustration. I picked the whiter color among the two, but they insist that my nails looks pinker than this color. I trusted them so I let them to use this color to repair my first finger. But when she put that color on my nail, I knew this is not the right color. It is even pinker than my other nails that turns pinker than its original white color after 5 days of fair wear and tear. I asked Lucy, this color is not correct so can we remove it. She said you cannot remove it, and refused to finish my first finger and walked away. She said to me: "I don't want to do it for you". This is the second big frustration of my experience here. Then another technician came and finished my first finger using the same wrong color. I told the second person that this color is not correct, can we change to use the other color that is whiter. She finished my middle finger with the whiter color. As you can see in the picture, the finished whiter color is closer to my other good nails. Any normal human eyes can tell the difference. So I went to the manager and told them that this is not correct that they knew they put wrong color on my nails and refused to correct their wrongs. Then the manager said to me that this is my decision to choose different colors on my nails, and didn't even mention the fact that they told me from the beginning that the color on my first finger is the right color. This is extremely unprofessional for them to refuse my fair requests, and decided to blame the customer for their wrong services. After arguing with the manager for a while, I realized that this is a completely waste of time. They will not correct their wrong service. What's even worse is that, when I kindly pointed out that they can record customer names, contacts, visits, and nail colors or other services received, and make such an improvement for all future customers. The manager said: "We won't do that. It is impossible for us to remember 400 colors." I literally saw there are color numbers labeled behind their nail color board. You see, they even refuse to take the kind advice from a customer and make an improvement. What makes me more angry is, when they tell me my original nail technician that did the nail for me last week will come tomorrow, and tomorrow is the last day of my 7 days free repair window, I asked the manager will my free repair still be valid until tomorrow 5 pm so we can come to let that contractor tell us which one is the right color, the manager said to me: "Are you saying you will intentionally break your nails and come to us again?" I cannot accept that a customer manager is serving her customers with the worst conjecture on everyone's intention. DO NOT TRY this salon for any service ever."
