Reviews of Vanderbilt Health and Williamson Medical Center Walk-In Clinic Nolensville
"Vanderbilt clinics are cash cows! Someone is getting very rich off of poor, ill people. $300 for a 10 minute visit, the only thing he did was look in my ear. The PA I saw was very nice and informative, but $300?? I might as well have gone to the ER. I had an appointment at this walk in and then waited for an hour to be seen."
"Changing my review to 5 stars. Now that I know how scheduling works it makes better sense. The staff here are great and have taken good care of my family and I during this sick winter!"
"Went in Thursday meeting and front desk was nice, nurse checking vitals not going to win an award for bedside manner but fine. I'm seen, have an infection which I knew, got prescription and told I should feel much better by Monday but come back if not. Well, infection in arm is growing some I came in more than an hour before closing time and asked by the young man at the front desk, who liked he was there to collect a paycheck, if I had an appointment for a walk-in clinic. All I needed was for someone to check my arm and suggest what's next but instead I'm given the "we're at capacity" and my need didn't meet their qualifications to change their policy. My grandfather was an MD and delivered me at birth and he would never have left someone in need like that. But what should you expect from a large coroporation. I won't be back."
"Contrary to some of the reviews I’ve read, I think this location is wonderful. I have only been there once but it was great and I plan on using them in the future. I was not happy that I got swabbed and diagnosed with strep but I got myself into that mess, the walk-in didn’t cause it. I was in and out pretty fast. Everyone I dealt with was friendly. The place was clean. The nurse practitioner was wonderful. It beats the stuffing out of the Walgreens where I live."
"This has got to be the angriest review I’ve ever written. Bad restaurants are one thing, but when you can’t be bothered to take proper care of sick people, you cross a really big line. I think my experience here today has convinced me to stop seeking any kind of care at this walk-in clinic. It was a very bad experience, including two extremely rude receptionists who almost seemed to be choking on the power trip of working behind those two computers of theirs. Jesus H. What the actual F…?! Walked in, respectfully took two masks since my child was ill, and immediately put them on both of us before walking up to the receptionist, who instantly made it clear she did not give a %$@# about greeting us, or anything other than simply gathering a modicum of information about why we were there, and then indicating we would be seen when we were seen. I specifically asked for just a rough estimate of time and was told “I can’t give you a rough estimate. You’ll be seen when you’re seen.” I think the hidden message was a little ruder, as you can imagine. And 25 minutes later, the same lovely, friendly woman announced that for “everyone waiting in the lobby, it’ll be at least a two hour wait.” Not followed by sorry. Not followed by any helpful suggestions. Just that. And. Done. When I asked if we could return in about two hours since we’d already been checked in, the *other* receptionist I spoke with (I didn’t want to hazard trying the first angry one again) cut me off mid sentence because she was so excited to tell me “No, we cannot do that, MA’AM.” Omg. So we left. I was furious. I took my sick child out of school for this. The lobby had exactly one other patient waiting to be seen, you can’t see either of us for another two hours minimum, and you also can’t be bothered to just be polite to me? When I’ve been nothing but polite?? You had to YELL ACROSS THE LOBBY instead of just coming out from your desk to speak quietly to all two of us? Seriously? Honestly, this location had a good doctor a few years ago when I had to bring my mother in for what ended up being an emergency, but the support staff were as horrible then as they are now. Like they’re angry just being there. Which makes me think there’s something really bad going on there, that we patients don’t know about…but it made me feel really uncomfortable and devalued and disrespected, like my time was completely worthless and certainly my emotional comfort was meaningless. So, $%@# you if you’re going to deliberately choose to make me feel that way. There’s an urgent care literally down the same street. So we went there. It literally took 30 seconds to drive over there. Vanderbilt is going to respond to this with their canned lines about calling customer relations, but here’s my perspective—I *already* gave you my feedback by posting this review. I’m not going to waste MORE of MY time by calling you to repeat the same story. Take these unbelievably bad reviews—there are plenty of them—and actually DO something about this clinic’s abysmal customer service."
