"Was patient here 2012 -2020. My last visit Dr Bin Hoang tried to sell me $12000 worth of work. $8000 for a deep laser cleaning and 3 crowns that were all next to each other. I decided to get a second opinion. Good thing I did. The deep 6mm pocket next to a tooth Dr Hoang had done a root canal on only a few years prior. This root canal went bad and the tip of the tooth was drilled too thin and cracked causing bone and gum issues. The tooth with several thousands invested had to be extracted and the tip surgically removed from my bone, then months to heal requiring an implant. Since leaving Radiant Smiles. 3 other procedures have failed that were performed there. 2 crowns that were made in house on his CEREC machine have lasted only a few years and a porcelain filling that was not properly sealed. After one of crowns, I complained about food getting trapped and he tried to sell me even more work to the tooth next to the crown, when it was the margin of the crown he installed that was not flush on tooth catching/trapping food against gumline. Reflecting back there were 3 other instances that I had to return to Radiant Care to have work performed by Dr Bin redone due to poor workmanship. 1: A crown that fell off, 2: crown that was not fitted correctly and a porcelain filling that came out shortly after leaving his office. To top this all off. I had a crown procedure performed the week before Christmas, Dr Bin drilled down too close to the nerve yet installed the CEREC crown anyhow. A few days later I was in agony from the intense pain. The day after Christmas I had to got to an endodontist for an emergency root canal because Dr Bin was closed through New Years. Several times I felt uneasy with Dr Bin's work how he rushed through things. I should have listened to my gut reaction. Since 2021 I have spent over $15,000 repairing, replacing work done at radiant Care Dental. This dentist does sloppy work. He is more concerned with selling maintenance care plans with up front pricing and unnecessary crowns than performing quality dental work . The work I had before going to Radiant Care "crowns, implants, root canals, fillings" are still holding up just fine."
