"I lived here for a year. I've been moved out for nearly a year and I STILL have not received my $860 deposit!! I received a clear report on moving out as I left it better than how they leased it to me. A clear lease that says it's will be returned within 30 days of moving out...still nothing! Lots of excuses when I call. I'm suing. Periodt. My apartment was nice but as soon as I opened my door to go outside...trash everywhere! It's really sad to see black people not taking better care of their environment no matter if it's nice or not. It's the mentality that is the problem as these apartments attract a certain group."
"New management team here now so I'm cautiously optimistic. Will upgrade from 1 star to 3. If positive changes continue to happen then I'll adjust my review accordingly"
"I was referred to these apartments by a case worker and it was just in the Knick of time. I had absolutely no problem applying or getting approved. Everything was quick and accurate. The employees at the office are very polite and understanding and made this process a breeze. I’m very excited that I came across this property and I can’t wait to move in!!!"
"I’m looking to move to Tennessee from Massachusetts and the interaction I had with the site manager was wonderful. Her name is Shakonda. She was knowledgeable and friendly about my inquiry. I’m excited to move there in the summer of 2019! 5 stars from me!"
"I've been here since the complex opened (7 years), and the management has been ridiculous and poor the entire time. I wish that I didn't have to give them even one star to write this. They are often not around or available when they should be (during their office hours), and go through apartment managers like crazy. I have been told by more than one apartment manager in the past that information was missing from my records. This was through no fault of my own, but previous apartment managers’ negligence. It seems like every year they claim that I did not pay the pet fee when I moved in, and I have to remind them that I did in fact pay (otherwise I wouldn't have been allowed to move in). They have tried to terminate me twice without any prior warning or standard time to leave (giving me only 72 hours to give up my apartment and leave). Only after I called and asked for the reason did they tell me why and tried to give me a chance to fix it. Some of those issues had never even been brought up before. Every month they come into your apartment for inspection, to change the filter, and to spray for bugs. I will go months without hearing any complaints, only for them to suddenly bring up issues when the THDA annual inspection comes up. In my recent discussion with them about trying to terminate me, they claimed that the pet odor was so bad that they could not even come into my apartment to inspect it. The regional manager stated that it "would kill a person and was seeping through the walls and into other apartments". Funny how they suddenly couldn't even inspect it after months of inspections, and how I had never received a complaint from them before stating that other tenants were complaining about the smell. I have taken several steps to fix the pet odor (carpet deodorizer, glade plug-ins, new litter boxes) throughout my time here, but they still claim that there is no improvement. It seems like they mainly just want to get rid of their original or long-lasting tenants. While the complex is relatively affordable, quiet (except for certain neighbors), and safe, I would still highly advise against trying to live here. Management is full of drama queens and liars. They do not practice an ethical business here."
