Reviews of Pearl Nails
"I came here for a fill, they charged me $61 and I pay $61 for a full set so I asked why is it the same price? when I was checking out, She said that the gel was $20 a manicure was $20?? (when i didn’t even get a manicure) the French tips were $15 and then the removal was $5 But when I called them, they gave me a completely different breakdown, they said the gel was $35 the removal was $5 and then the French tips were $15 which is $55, so i don’t know where the other costs are coming from?? not to mention, the lady did a bad job as you can see in the photos cuticles are dried up, the shape is completely off. I tried to call again to ask how much was a medium length full set with gel, and he said 38 and up, and I said well how much just for one color, medium length and he wouldn’t give me an exact price?? it just seems like the prices are all over the place. wouldn’t recommend"
"Beware of the prices change in person. I had called to ask how much they charge for acrylic overlay and the man quoted me $30 and for French tip $12 but when I got there I took a look at their menu and it said $26 which another lady confirmed the price to be $26 and when I asked for French tip she said $10 and when repeated the amount she changed it to $15 bc it was a " different type of French tip " in her words. Which made me feel shady about how they try to sheme their prices. The work was mid and I do not recommend coming here unless you want to be lied about prices. So unethical to not stick to the prices you are advertising."
"My girlfriend brought me here for Mother's Day as a treat for both of us. We were seen pretty quickly at our appointment time. The service was really good, so I came back about three weeks later and showed them a picture of a nail design that I really wanted. I wasn't sure they were going to be able to do it but they sent Hailey my way and girl, she was Confident as hell with a capital "C" in her skills. She knocked it out of the park with how professional, meticulous and talented she was. I only want her to do my nails from now on! The shop is always super busy, so reservations are recommended. The only two cons I can think of are: 1) They charge you a $1.00 fee to use your card to pay. I've said this many times before that it's their cost of doing business and shouldn't be absorbed by the customers as customers are already patronizing the business; 2) They charge $5.00 to remove gel polish, no matter what. I've been to shops that do not charge the gel removal if you are replacing it with another gel manicure, which I think is fair. I don't like the nickel and diming. Overall, still a very good shop but due to the credit card surcharge and mandatory $5.00 for gel removal, I will consider going to other shops."
"I made an appointment for 10 am for my sisters my mom and I. I asked for the last picture and this is what they gave me. I told them multiple times the nails weren’t done properly and they did not care. They made my sisters wait outside for 40 minutes even though we made an appointment. She didn’t clean our cuticles at all and charged us $60 for this. Horrible service last time I came here 2 months ago before this incident and same thing I waited 30 minutes even though I had an appointment and the lady who did my toes made fun of them and continue to laugh at them. Would not recommend coming here at all. Overcharged, horrible service, terrible art work, and won’t stick to appointment and are extremely rude."
"My favorite nail shop! I've been going here consistently for over 2yrs and before covid I was going every two weeks for pedicures. Johanna is my favorite and she's really sweet. We are always greeted kindly, it's fun being a regular somewhere."
