Bluegrass Lodge Apartments

"I just recently moved in a few days ago I thought it was a nice first apartment with rent I could afford, the whole apartment was disgusting completely dirty inside there was black foot prints and hand prints on walls there was dead bugs all over the apartment every wall in the apartment was either dirty or stained it looked as if someone had tried breaking or kicking in the apartment did not even want to leave my belongings in the apartment when I wasn’t there whole place was warn down on it’s last strings, it gets worse while inspecting the apartment I found that both bathroom and kitchen cabinets had water damage underneath the bathroom sink I found mold whole place was disgusting."

"Penny Brainard and her husband David are the property managers of Bluegrass Lodge. Before signing the lease they were very nice and cordial. After signing the lease is where the problems began to arise. Penny is a complete trouble-maker and they are both thieves. She lied to police officers and told them I threatened her. Luckily, my fiance and new neighbor were outside when the verbal altercation occurred. I was never arrested because they apparently already know about Penny and her shinanigans. One officer told my fiance that they have been having problems out of Penny since the '80s and they're surprised that she is still the property manager! Now that I have finished my lease (so glad it's over) and vacated my apartment leaving it spotless, Penny is refusing to return my security deposit. I have never had so many problems out of a landlord before in my whole entire life. So, please Stay Away from either the Bluegrass Lodge Apts. and Kentucky Manor because she is the landlord/property manager there as well."
