"Background: I changed my insurance and my son (6yo) was assigned to this office--they needed to see him first in order to refer him to the pediatric dentist I wanted him to see. I have to say, don't judge a book by its cover here! The building looks a little old and rundown, and the parking lot was falling apart. It's a small building on the corner lot of a residential neighborhood. I almost thought we were in the wrong place. We walked inside and a receptionist checked us in. I wouldn't say that it was the warmest interaction, but she was polite and helpful. We waited for a few moments while our insurance was run, then the dental hygienist (I think that's the title?), Laurie, called my son back. She was very nice with my son--she seemed like a very sweet grandmother. You could tell that she liked kids a lot, and knew just what to say to help him stay calm. She helped him onto the chair gently and then fetched me a chair to sit nearby. They attempted xrays on my son, but he was moving too much. They decided to let the pediatric office take new ones because they might be better equipped to do a child's. So, they opted for a visual exam and cleaning for today. The dentist was very thorough and gentle. I think he might not be used to cleaning squirming kids' teeth, but he was nice and patient anyway. He and Laurie were super informative, and had some excellent information about things we can do at home to improve our dental health. When it came to making the arrangements for the referral, Laurie was extra helpful. She explained the process to me and told me exactly what I needed to do in order to switch over to the other dentist. Overall, I would definitely recommend this office for adults. It was such a nice experience!"
