Reviews of Sonoma Ridge at Fairview
"Beautiful quiet neighborhood. Tucked away to where to feels like you are away from everything, yet centrally located to everything Clarksville has to offer. Also great new management. Lived here for 3 years and it’s been improving each and every year."
"Sonoma Ridge has been an absolute pleasure to call home. The management team here is top-notch, always attentive and dedicated to making our experience here the best it can be. Maintenance requests are handled swiftly and effectively, ensuring any concerns are resolved promptly. They are consistently making improvements to the property, ensuring a fresh and inviting atmosphere. I'll definitely be renewing my lease without hesitation. I would highly recommend Sonoma Ridge to anyone looking for a fantastic place to call home!"
"We definitely will NOT be releasing. The "neighborhood" itself is fine, not bad people or noisy neighbors, nothing like that. But if you're looking for good management that will actually communicate with people (about anything at all), or looking for a nice place with good water pressure & where things will get fixed when broken...do NOT come here. This place is just as expensive as everywhere else around, & it's not deserving of it AT ALL. I honestly hate this place just for the water pressure alone. The shower, the sinks, it's all awful. I have never lived anywhere that has water pressure as pitiful as this place. Idk what they screwed up in construction, but it's sooo bad. We asked maintenance about it & were told there’s nothing they can do. Our electric bill is ridiculously high every month, but not bc we leave lights on. The doors aren’t properly sealed - so bad that you can see light through the front door crack - & I know it affects the temp inside. [Not sure why the doors aren’t properly constructed though bc I believe these townhomes are fairly new (maybe within 5 yrs).] I’ve always kept my air set to 68°F year-round (just switch between heat & cool), but the thermostat here is a bold-faced liar regardless of where it’s taking the temperature from. In colder months it’s freezing downstairs & super toasty upstairs; in hotter months it’s kinda cool downstairs & a sauna upstairs. The carpet wasn’t laid well, so it’s bunched up in multiple places in multiple rooms. Not a dealbreaker but definitely annoying. The air filter won’t stay in place, it keeps getting sucked halfway up into the hole, causing a lot of dust buildup. We've had issues with the fridge ice dispenser since before I moved in, submitted a maintenance request for them to fix it. They came a few days later & said the water filter needed replaced & that it's good to go now. No way did they actually try to use the ice dispenser though, bc if they did they would have understood my issue: the stupid thing doesn't close properly when it finishes spitting out ice. & since it doesn't close fully, the ice partially melts then refreezes & gets stuck in the dispenser & ice bucket. It’s a “gated community” but don’t expect that to mean added security. The gate was fully functional for a few months when I first moved in, a gate code required for entry. Then the gates were fully open all the time for anyone to enter/exit. Now the entry side stays open & the exit side is closed until you drive up to it. Makes no sense? There are security cameras near the gate but I kinda doubt they actually work. I’ve never known of any kind of office space or location you can actually go to talk to the property management. If there’s one onsite here we’re not aware of it. I got married & moved in during the middle of my spouse's lease. We tried calling mgmt to have my name added to the lease (as I believe is legally required), but no one ever answered the phone OR called us back. I finally left a detailed voicemail one time explaining why we're calling & what we needed from them, but still never got a call back or any response of any kind. Very frustrating. We gave up trying, because if it's not important enough for them to have correct information on file then what's the point..? We had a ton of water in our downstairs bathroom, water closet, & laundry room one night; so bad that it was going up the walls but none of our pipes were wet. We tried calling mgmt/maintenance to figure out if it was our neighbors or if we had a leak somewhere we couldn't see. Never got a call back or any kind of response. Happened to cross paths with one of our neighbors the next day & asked if they had a leak, & they said yes maintenance came to deal with it that morning. Idk why mgmt can't answer their phones or have the basic decency to call ppl back or even email/text/whatever. Or even just put a note on our door or in our mailbox. It's so rude. Don't waste your time & money living here; it's really not worth it."
"Horrible move in experience. Had to switch apartments day of move in because nothing was ready. Couldn’t get a hold of anyone the weeks leading up to move in to figure out details. I understood they were going through management changes at the time so didn’t press the issue further once we figured it out. The apartment we moved in to had minor damages so it wasn’t worth fixing compared to the first apartment we were given. THEN we got charged for those damages at move out even tho they were already there and not caused by us. Also, we thoroughly cleaned the apartment prior to move out, even scrubbed the walls down. They STILL charged us “standard cleaning fees” (not excessive cleaning… standard) for between tenants. We should not be responsible for “standard cleaning” when the apartment was left clean to begin with. We paid more than enough in rent to cover their “standard cleaning”. They didn’t give us our security deposit back, despite no other damages or filth. Other tenants are nice tho!"
"My husband and I lived here for 2 1/2 years and moved out in April. The management change was a struggle at first but definitely for the best! Gated community helped me feel safe while he left for deployment, and we had a smooth transition moving. Most pleasant experience we've had thus far"
