"I have mixed feelings about this salon. I have been coming here on and off for over ten years. The salon is local, prices are fair, and the threaders are skilled. One of the threaders must have bad experiences with her customers. She is often overly curt in her mannerisms and in her tone of voice. Her threading is very good and I get it… I’m not there to buy courtesy…I’m there to get my eyebrows done but…it’s the personal interaction with my threader that builds trust and I can’t trust someone so overly curt. I always feel like she’s going to snap. My favorite threader has opened up her own shop. She is no longer here and I can’t commute the distance to have her thread my eyebrows anymore. The new threader is good but needs a little practice. Her eyebrow shaping is on point, she is courteous, but she doesn’t use the equipment to her benefit. She doesn’t adjust the chair or turn on the overhead light and misses hair or accidentally over reaches with the thread. I am not bashing this salon. None of my experiences has ever left me with bad eyebrows. On the contrary, I continue to patronize this salon because they are good threaders. I just wish there was more courtesy and better communication."
