Dr. Andy Kusumo (Dentist)

"You don't meet people or dentists like Dr. Andy Kusumo very often in life. For almost two decades Andy has been the only one I trust with my teeth. As I've moved around the country, I always come back to Andy for my dental work, and recommend the same for all of my family and friends. Most people think that dentistry is fairly basic: cleaning teeth, making fillings, doing braces, whitening, etc. But good dentistry is so much more than that. And bad dental work can impact much more than a person's mouth. It can change a person's physical appearance, can cause frequent headaches, can slowly poison a person over time, can affect how a person feels, etc. That's why it's worth using only the best. It is difficult to find a dentist as highly educated and skilled as Andy. Most dentists have 8 years of college & dental school. Because Andy studied oral surgery as well, he had 11 years: more schooling than many medical doctors. I've always been shocked how I can describe almost any ailment in any part of my body and Andy can tell me what's wrong. Though he's an expert in dentistry, he understands the entire human body and how everything works together. That's not a small thing since every part of our body is connected to all the other parts. Even more rare than Andy's education and dental experience is his honesty and humble caring heart for others. You never have to wonder if he's pitching something that you don't really need or offering something that's second best. Never. He has the heart of a mom but the capacity of an oral surgeon. Andy could easily have been a very wealthy man, but instead he chooses to help people. As a dental student at USC, he'd offer free dental work to everyone he came into contact with in daily life: the clerk at the grocery store, restaurant workers, poor students, anyone. I would say that in what matters--in terms of positive impact in the world and number of lives he's improved--he's a very wealthy man."

"Have had the best experience here, cleanings, wisdom teeth removal, and invisalign. Andy is trained in oral surgery and I had 4 impacted wisdom teeth that were crowding my other teeth. I was not placed under anesthesia, but numbed and aided by a relaxing gas. The process was smooth and my healing was very fast. I was impressed that the Dr. placed bone marrow in and sewed up the extraction site. I also had invisalign through his office and could not be happier with the results.
