"Don't come to this place if you have HMO. They take a bunch of x-rays and charge the insurance. They refuse to give a semi-annual cleaning and give an outrageous estimate for something else ($6,000+). They need to give two cleanings a year for HMO even if patients need deep cleaning. Giving a regular cleaning is still better than no cleaning, but this facility refuses to do it. Looking at the cost estimate, they did not accept any insurance, so it is the same as no insurance. Since they already charge the insurance for the x-ray, we have no other place to go for regular cleaning. I have a feeling that all the positive review are faked."

"Absolutely recommend this dentist office. I’ve done a deep cleaning, two root canals (Dr. Roy) / crown installation (Dr. Michael) and oral surgery (Dr. Pedram) to remove two wisdom teeth. If my doctors were these doctors when I was a kid, I don’t think I would have the hesitance I carried into adulthood. Ms. Nidia and the rest of the staff at the front/billing were also great. Dr. Michael has such a great attitude and always thoroughly explains what is happening, so you don’t feel in the dark about the services you’re getting. Dr. Roy and his staff did two root canals in a jiffy (it’s really impressive to see him work) – the following day, it didn’t feel like I went to the dentist at all. Dr. Pedram took out two wisdom teeth, and I only felt minor soreness the next day (still healing)--his staff was also great. I can’t recommend this place enough. Dr. Michael’s quote on the website said the following, and he absolutely delivered: “I will improve your health in a very visible and immediate way, from restoring your teeth to healing your pain. I love to put a smile on your face. You can expect empathetic and gentle care using the latest technologies.”"

"I found Cerritos Smiles Dentistry on Yelp. I last went to the dentist in August 2019. Needless to say I had a lot of anxiety and the entire staff had made this return and everything so easy and comfortable. I had to have two crowns put in and had never had a root canal so I was really scared about that but again they all explained everything and worked with me. I have had a wonderful experience and feel confident in keeping up with all my regular care. If you’re looking for a new dentist I highly recommend."

He's one of the few rare dentists (in my opinion!) that actually cares about my oral health without trying to upsell any services that's not needed. He's honest & truly loves what he does.
