"I went in for a fill, and my nails and I love them!! I did think the fill price was spend until he started on them. Then I realized he did 10 times better the place I got the set done at. Highly recommend!"
"This place isn’t messing around. They have enough chairs for you and all your friends. They are clean, quick, they do a great job, very friendly. My nails look amazing, they didn’t rush me or upsell me, simply talked me through options and hooked me up. Theres plenty of parking and prices are fair and comparable."
"Not happy with the service at all. They took $140 for my nails and the person who did my nails forgot to put matt finish bc she was getting late and the paint started getting lighter in the first week itself. Waste of money! When I went back to take my nails off they again did a half job as if they're doing me a favor. Tbh, the receptionist here has a really bad attitude. I wouldn't recommend this salon."
"They do a pretty good job at achieving the look you want & my nails are still going after 2 weeks. No complaints there. However, they are kinda rough when prepping the nails. Nearly cut my finger. And I’m not so sure they follow proper sanitation (main reason I don’t do salons). I paid $65 for med size gel extensions when I keep seeing that acrylic sets are $55?"
"Quality has gone down! I recently went to Lovely Nails with a friend on Saturday, 6/10/23, and this was my worst experience yet! Before we arrived, we called the salon to ask for the current wait time since we did not make appointments. The employee on the other end of the line informed us there was no wait. Before my friend could ask what time the salon closed, the employee on the other end of the line hung up on us! We decided to go anyways because we both really wanted our nails done, worst mistake! When we were seated, I started by telling the technician I wanted a design and showed her the design on my phone. She said she could do this design no problem, but did not inform me of the cost. I didn't think much of it since I usually am willing to pay any price for my nails, as long as they are to my expectations. When she asked me what length I wanted, I told her short/medium, since I work on a computer all day and long nails make a lot of noise. When the tech went to cut down my nail length, I noticed she took a pair of clippers out of her SOILED container! I briefly went to Cosmetology school, and they teach you to have 2 containers labeled "clean" and "soiled". All tools that have been used should be placed in a soiled container and are not to be used on any other clients prior to disinfecting. I was really grossed out by this, but also didn't want to cause a scene, so I didn't say anything. Another mistake! After cutting my nails down, the tech informed me that the design would not look good on the nail length I chose. I asked her if I should switch the design because I don't want it to look bad, but she said no and that she can do the design on my nails, so I decided to proceed. I cannot remember the name of the technician who was performing my service, but at one point when she asked me if I liked the shape of the nails, I informed her it looked like one of the nails was crooked. The tech responded by telling me that my fingers were crooked, and the nail was placed straight. If you have had fake nails before, I am sure you have heard this lame excuse before as well. When paying for a service, the client has the right to let the servicer know if they are not happy during any point of the service. In the past, I have had many nail techs place the nails in a way to make your finger appear straighter. This should always be the standard, and client should never be made to feel like there is something wrong with their finger shape! After already feeling uncomfortable due to my "crooked fingers" and design choice, I was hesitant to complete the service. At this point, the technician informed me that the additional price for the design would be $25. The price for a full set acrylic nails is reasonable, $55. From my past experience, the technician should inform the client of the entire price including design prior to beginning the service. If you go to get your hair done, they tell you a price at the beginning of the service, they do not decide the price in the middle of the service or after the service has been completed. Due to me already being hesitant, when she told me my fingernails were going to be $80 before tip, I told the technician I didn't want the design anymore. At that point, I already had chosen what I wanted, and now my plain was soiled. I decided I no longer wanted my nails done and I preferred to leave instead. The manager came over and asked what the issue was. I told her that I thought it was insane that the design would cost nearly 50% of what the nails alone cost. She told me I needed to pay for the service and that the technician decides the price once they see the length of the nail. Even though, my technician told me the design wouldn't look good on my nail length. The manager then told me that $25 for the design is low and she would've charged me $30. I bit my tongue and had another tech finish the service. After the service I informed the manager of the dirty tools, she denied it! This is how nail fungus spreads! Reporting to the BOARD of COSMO! Also, my nails look HORRIBE!"
