"Peter's place is great. He's friendly and works quickly, but does a thorough and good-looking haircut for a good price. The place is small but the longest I have waiting is about 10 minutes. "1. I’m in a rush, give me a one sentence summary – you may feel rushed at Peter’s, but he’ll give you a great haircut at a very affordable price. 2. The rush – Before I went to Peter’s I read a lot of reviews on Yelp about how Peter made them feel rushed. Having been to Peter’s a few times now I would say that this is definitely accurate. But I think that’s just the man’s style. Even though I felt like he was rushing through my haircut, he paid attention to all the necessary details, and I’ve never felt like my experience was lessened in any way because he works fast. If you’re trying to get in and out in 15 minutes, this is the spot for you. 3. My haircut – like most Asian men I have very straight hair that doesn’t want to naturally do anything except hang straight down. I wanted to try and start layering my hair more to go for more of a combed-over look, and came in with a bunch of different pictures of hairstyles of various lengths that I thought looked good and potentially wanted to do with my hair. Peter took a quick look at all of the pictures and told me he could do something that would give me the versatility to experiment with those type of styles, and he delivered on that. 4. Pricing – my haircut was $15. Very affordable, and much better than a place like Super Cuts for the same price. 5. Peter’s is open late – until 7 every day except for Sunday I believe, which is great because you can get a haircut in after work instead of having to wait and schedule a weekend appointment. 6. Misc – no A/C so it can get a bit hot inside depending on the weather, there’s a private lot for parking and I’ve never had trouble finding a spot in there."
