"My husband and I just had the BEST massages here. We were in Catalina for a day and popped in. Gypsy worked on my frozen shoulder and tight neck. I haven't been able to move my neck in 2 years and my shoulder feels like I'm 25 again. I wish I lived here so she could work on me every week.!!!! My husband had Ester and he says she is very strong and really understood his underlying tension issues. Fantastic massage!!!"

"Booked online. I was a bit apprehensive when arriving, because the outside and hall are not super spa-like. I was early, because I took the hotel shuttle and preferred to be early to late. I was happy to wait in the hall, but the manager was able to put me in a room to wait. This gave me time to relax, but didn't allow me to meet the massage therapist face to face, as I was instructed to disrobe and lay face down. Once Esther came in, she was very calm and got right to work. I knew 3 minutes in that this would be a good experience. The massage was grand! The footrub was wonderful. The scalp massage was something I'd never experienced before, but I loved it! She checked every now and then regarding the pressure, it was really relaxing and just right! She even used hot towels and hot stones. I've had a few massages over time, but I'm not an expert. I just know I felt great after this. I was expecting a facial, not a face massage, but it was still nice. This might be my misunderstanding of the word facial. Overall, it was a great experience. I'll definitely see if I can book on my next visit."

"My fiance and I set up a last minute appointment with them. The prices are great and the fact they take in walk ins and have great availability is amazing. I can tell you how many times we take a trip and it's hard to find availability during our stay. But for the best part the massage! OMG! It was the best massage I have had. I had I believe Barbara and unfortunately I don't remember my fiances masseuse name but both were incredible and the peppermint scalp massage was a great addition to end the massage! We will definitely be going back there on our next trip to Avalon."

"I won’t lie… when I saw the outside of the building I was a little skeptical but I was BLOWN AWAY. I had Esther as my masseuse and she made sure to ask me exactly what I was comfortable with, if I had any injuries or specific places I wanted her to focus on. She immediately found a huge knot where I always complain of pain and proceeded to work it until it was as loose as it has been in YEARS. She also asked if she could “stretch me” and I was like sure but I didn’t know what she really meant. But it was the best decision. Her stretching my legs and arms felt wonderful. Her techniques in general were ones I’ve never encountered but they were so effective. She even massaged behind my ears and my belly ( which I wasn’t so sure about as a bigger girl) but then it felt so nice! Overall my expectations were exceeded at every turn and my only disappointment is that I live 7 hours away and won’t be able to make regular massages with Esther a part of my life. I wish she could train someone near me to do what she does."
