"Initially I did not want to continue coming to this dentist after seeing Mr. Johnson. He was short and unattentive, he whispered to himself over me "this will have to come out and this one" No communication whatsoever. Granted he is busy and short on time it seems, as a new customer it wasn't the greatest impression or experience. I was glad the implant doctor was different. The nurses made me keep coming back. I met with the implant doctor and she was a little better but still short and called me a baby because I cried, I am but unnecessary to say lol. My first implant was put in improperly (there was a long stick coming out of my gum) when it inevitably came out I had to start the process over prolonging the whole thing. Then with multiple miscommunications, and rescheduling I finally have my implant and glad to never go back. Although I scheduled a payment with the receptionist/nurse (a paper with my card information and a date it is supposed to be processed) and still it hasn't been paid for on my end. I believe most of the doctors clients are people who have been going to him for years, people he has a relationship with."
"Great customer service.Great overall experience. Great patient education provided by one of the assistants Normandie she put me at ease Everytime I went in,I was very nervous but she coached me through the whole encounter she told me what to expect before and while my procedure. I am very thankful to her and Dr. Burgess. I work in the medical field and you can imagine the difficultly in getting time off, but they accommodated my schedule and stayed passed there normal hours to tend to my needs. I am very greatful to them. I highly recommend this dentist office to my friends and colleagues. I also tell them to ask for a day when Normandie is in the office!"
"They referred me to a specialist for a wisdom tooth extraction, but never notified my insurance or the dentist they referred me to. Therefore I was the one stuck with a bill for the consultation. Keep in mind that through my dental insurance, I should never have to pay for a consult. Anyways, My stupid Western Dental plus insurance through my employer knew nothing of the referral and told me to have the referring office submit the paperwork and they will pay the bill. So I went back to this office and they said that they would send the paperwork over to the office that they referred me too so the bill can be paid. Well 6 months later and I'm still receiving a bill from the office that I was referred too because this office is so unorganized and unprofessional that the paperwork was never faxed or mailed. This is highly disappointing. Furthermore, on my first visit my dentist who I assume(because he never introduced himself) was Raymont Johnson, lacked concern for my oral health. He did not ask me if anything was bothering me, hurting, or if I had any concerns for my mouth and teeth. He just came in and went to work on a cleaning that I did not ask for nor was I even told that it always a part of the 1st visit. Come to find out I had a cavity in one of my wisdom teeth that had been hurting, but after all the x-rays and poking around on my first visit, they did not notice it because he did not have enough concern to even ask me if I was in pain. Further, the environment here is like a dusty old house. Everything just looks old and out of date. The staff seems like they just generally have an attitude. Only one person here showed any concern and had a comforting presence. She was a young black woman who I believe was a dental assistant. I don't want an apology from this place, what I want is action. Saying "I'm sorry for your experience" won't make me feel any different, but actions will."
