"as a beauty professional in the industry for almost 19 years i am in awe and great appreciation for Miraya and her team of caring & talented nail artists. not only are they exceptional at what they do, the environment is beautiful, clean, & extremely inviting. i had given up on nail salons all together because they all felt the same. i always felt rushed in and out, not cared for, ignored, and they always hurt me and ultimately ruined my nails. now my natural nails are the longest, strongest & most beautiful they’ve ever been! unlike all of my previous experiences in other places, they last without any chipping, lifting or breaking and that says a lot considering i’m a busy hairstylist in water constantly. i’m also a nail picker/ biter and i'm never made to feel bad if i overly pick at them and they have to fix it. they also offer super easy online booking and have a great reminder system in place. definitely worth the investment to have the nails of my dreams! so grateful this place exists and i found it!"
"I am so happy I found this cute nail boutique! The nail nook team never disappoints. It’s always so clean and relaxing in there too! I will never go back to an ordinary nail salon again."
"The entire experience was relaxing. I had my nails done with Esme and they turned out beautiful."
"I wouldn’t call this an “upscale” salon, nor was it very relaxing… located in an older building, front door open, cars honking and little bugs lingering around me during the whole service. I got a pedicure. The technician seemed nice but was behind on time. Anyway, she told me she couldn’t cut my nails because my skin was too close to the nails, this resulting to her only using a file which took a long time, I noticed my nails were different lengths and she argued they weren’t, I just gave up. I have no understanding as to why she wouldn’t cut them as I have been getting pedicures for several years and no one has ever brought this “issue” to my attention or refused to cut my nails with clippers, I have also cut my nails myself with no “issues”…. The massage was nice, she painted my nails and did a top coat, said they were dry and I was good to go so I left. I wore sandals/was barefoot the rest of the night, I took a shower about 3 hours later and all the polish smudged all over. I also noticed my feet are very dry on the bottom still so I don’t think they have a good procedure intact for pedicures, it seemed very basic/low end. Overall, there were more negatives than positives, I feel like I wasted my time and money, I would not recommend this salon and I will not be back."
"ITS A NO NO FOR ME I’m having my nails done for past 8+ years. Always going for same either gel polish or structure gel on my natural nails. Usually paying 50-70$ depending if I’m getting some nail art or not. My nails were done by Miraya. I asked for a lavender french tip. Firstly my cuticles were only trimmed with cuticle cutter and I needed to ask for more detail cuticle care because they were looking very rough.. Secondly when I saw my first hand with tip I was speechless.. It was twice as thick as it is on the pictures I attached here. The girl got an attitude when I asked her if she can change it.. That wasn’t very nice since I was trying to be very polite about it. French like this was trending when my Mom was young. It was looking very bad. There is no attention to detail at this salon. I have bubbles everywhere, not even edges - gel is wavy full of indentation on the edges. My right thumb looks like it has a week growth already, the polish is very far from the cuticle. Total: $83 I would think twice before booking appointment at the Nail Nook."
