"I've been attending PhysioOne ~2x a week since it opened to help with my chronic back issues. I've had back issues for years, I've been treated for them at other PT clinics, and PhysioOne is definitely the best PT clinic I've been to in Memphis! Originally, I started going to PhysioOne because I have known and been training with Derrick (Physical Therapy Assistant) for several years. After meeting and getting to know Dr. Dean (Physical Therapist), I was completely sold on the clinic. Their business model really focuses on the patient and Dean and Derrick make sure you get the best, most individualized care possible. Instead of having 10-12+ patients in the clinic at one time, PhysioOne keeps patient numbers extremely low so that you get one-on-one attention and time from both providers. Dean spends 1-1.5 HOURS providing hands-on therapy to my injured back, which includes: dry needling, massage, stretching, theragun, etc. I never feel like he's rushing me. If my back is tighter than normal, he simply spends more time working on it. After that, I work with Derrick on strengthening exercises. Rather than being shown an exercise and left to do reps on my own, Derrick talks me through my reps. He continuously makes sure my form is correct, that I'm feeling my muscles burn in the appropriate places, and, if necessary, he adjusts the weight I'm lifting. I could go on and on about my positive experiences here, but I'll sum it up this way... "Assisted Stretching is amazing. I have been experiencing tightness and discomfort in my neck and shoulders. I made an appointment and Derrick worked my all my kinks out. I feel great. I usually just get a massage, but I have been hearing a lot about stretching lately and wondered if that would help. PhysioOne offers Assisted Stretching which is a combination of stretching and massage. Wow. I feel much better than after a regular massage. I strongly recommend this to anyone.
