"Make sure that your there on time because they don't give you a grace period they will turn you around quick"
"Staff is extremely rude- why they continue to hire people who are not excellent communicators, with an above average patience level, I just do not understand. They also have zero understanding of functional patient operations- they will call 745a in the morning on a given day and expect you to come in by 4p, regardless of your work schedule, travel, or other unmovable commitments. >> They will drop you as a patient if you have a job where you travel and happen to be out of town when they call and demand your presence, or if you happen to live a lifestyle where you travel often, and if you're a nurse or doctor, God forbid you're in the middle of surgery, they seriously just expect you to tell your boss you have to leave and they the hospital is going to need to find a float nurse. Additionally, they are closed on Fridays- and heaven help anyone in pain when the staff, who is tom busy or too careless, fails to fill a prescription due on a Fri-Sun. When you call the emergency number, you will be told that they do not consider prescriptions as an emergency even if it’s their mistake. If the pharmacy has a problem with your pain meds, or the doctor's staff never sent the prescription, it is their common and stated practice to allow patients to suffer by going 3-4 days without their pain medicine instead of doing their sworn duty to "first do no harm". It is harmful, impractical, and self absorbed to conduct business in such a way. If I could give negative 5 stars, I would."
"This group has or is loosing the best two providers they have. Dr, deFlumoraz is the nicest human being on the f@ce of the earth and a brilliant physician. She quided me through some extremely terrible side effects from medication and got me on the correct drug. I think she is retiring. Brenda Bailey was the np that I was assigned to and met my every need. Things are very different now that they are gone. The people their. are so rule oriented that they cannot think outside the box. It can only go one way. They do not care if you run out of pain meds and go through withdrawal.I am a mature, well educated professional and I am paying Medicare some $300 a month for my insurance plan which allows me to chose the clinic I want. I will not be treated like a child!I will not treated like I am stupid and I will not be treated like an addict when I am indeed a pain therapy patient. I should not be punished because I am in pain. Nor should anyone else. Their answering system talked about how compassionate they are. Ha! Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.keep in mind two different clinics are being reviewed here. The memohis clinic and the Jackson Clinic. At least it looks that way. There are other pain clinics in Memphis. My comments are all regarding the Cordova/Memphis office. I also think people should recognize that the work up ladies are NOT nurses,as some of them tell you they are. They are bright young ladies who have had a little on the job training but are not nurses as the chief doc says in his phone message. These ladies work hard but it is fraud to lie and tell others you are a nurse when you are not! It is illegal to represent yourself as a medical, person. they are not qualified to help you with medical problems . Be careful you will be given the wrong information by some. I was told by one that they could not prescribe my meds because they had never seen me before when I had been going there for years.they had my chart but refused to help me. I could go on and on. Yes! I am an unhappy camper. Find someone who cares abt you as a person and treats you that way. You may report any fraud that you wish, insurance or otherwise, as some have mentioned, to the Tenn Board of Health in Nashville. You"
"I have been coming to this clinic for 4 months. My prescription is due today but the doctor forgot to send it to Walgreens. Today is Friday and the clinic is closed. When I called the emergency number Cheryl told me that they did not consider prescriptions as an emergency even if it’s their fault. So if you choose this clinic and the drug store has a problem with your pain meds or never sent your prescription over you can expect to go 3 or 4 days without your medicine. If you can go 3 or 4 days without your medication you probably don’t need pain management. Think twice before coming to this clinic."
"I have been seeing them for over 5 years now and I have had ZERO issues at all. Ms. Bailey, NP has always been professional and always listens to my concerns. I am very surprised at the negative reviews since that certainly has never been my experience. I would not hesitate recommending this clinic for anyone in need of their services. Unfortunately, there will always be some folks that will find fault no matter where they go."
