Baptist Urgent Care - Collierville

"I scheduled an appointment for @10:45am. I went ahead of time to see if they have a service I was looking for. I entered to the clinic @8:30am, and talked to the receptionist that I would like to get referrals to imaging clinic. She said yes we will send you to Campbell Clinic, have a seat I will call you. I was waiting patiently because I had a schedule for 10:45 am. After 2 hrs waiting time the receptionist told me that I have bad debts and have to pay it before I get the service. I pulled up my insurance account and showed her what was submitted and all was paid. She said she doesn’t handle billing and you have to call the billing company. I did call my insurance company, and the customer representative told me that she is not seeing any claim on the date the service provided and helped me to connect to their billing company. We found out that the bill has been rejected by my insurance due to incorrect information on the claim. They have n’t corrected and submitted again. My insurance company asked the billing representative to correct the information and submit the claim so that he can clear my information to get the service. The billing company representative doesn’t know how to fix the issue and took him another 2hrs to resolve the issue. After they fixed the issue, the receptionist told me that I have to wait until others be seen. I came @8:30am and I didn’t get the service until 12:30pm. I was checked in @ 12:30pm, then I had to wait to the NP to see me another 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, when I asked her I have work please see me she said I have someone before you and your appointment was @10:45. It was 1:00pm. I told her I came here to get referral to imaging clinic, then she said this’s the information for the Campbell Clinic without considering seeing me. I have never seen such kind of unprofessional service. I don’t know how these people feel at the end of their day. I feel like they did it on purpose. Very disappointing!!!"

"I made an appt day of to be seen for a sore throat. Given I take care of an immune compromised family member, I can't take any chances. I was taken back timely and seen verse quickly. Very appreciated because as a caregiver, it's very hard to be away from home long."

"I went into their office feeling absolutely awful. I waited 2 and a half hours to be seen (with nobody in the waiting room). The receptionist was incredibly sweet. The medical staff incredibly lacking. I was prescribed an antibiotic and 48 hours later my pharmacy has yet to receive the prescription. I called and was promised the script was being sent over within the hour. Today I have called and called and never got an answer. My message was never returned. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone for any reason. Just horrible service."

"Edited to add I tested positive for covid as soon as I got home….so…. If I could give zero stars I would. MA has a sarcastic condescending attitude, I was left in the exam room for over 45 minutes and never checked on or seen, so I walked out and left. There was noone in the entire waiting room, it was extremely slow. Total waste of an hour and a half of my day while feeling absolutely awful. I guess I just won’t receive treatment."
