Park Office / Visitor Center

"Park staff were friendly. However we may have hit it on the wrong day or maybe the wrong time of year, or wrong time off our life? I hate to rate a TN St Park so low, we love our parks! There were just a couple missing pieces. The nature center was closed, even though when I tracked down the number to the visitor center they claimed it was open. Nope, we were standing right in front of the Nature center, it was definitely closed. Needs to be better coordination there. Since our son was too young for the cave, we did a short hike on the paved trail. An accomplishment in July! Managed to see a few cedars. Thoroughly sweaty and out of options, we headed for the splash pad. Unfortunately it was…sad. Just some concrete with a couple drinking fountain scale “geysers”. We got there and our 4yo son immediately opted out. Maybe we’ll try a hike in the fall or a cave when he’s older."

"A very friendly lady greeted us as soon as we walked in. This place was extremely clean. The restrooms were also very clean. This place reminded me of my grandmother's house. Tons of trinkets n things that I feel if I didn't watch myself I would break lol. This place was way too nice to allow that to happen. It's a very small place so not somewhere you want to brings 3+ kids into. Great job on keep this area clean and friendly!!!"

"There have been major upgrades to park and more are coming. We stayed at site 114 and loved it. Checked out bathhouse in area 3 and was pleasantly surprised at how clean and spacious it was."
