"I take my youth group surfing at Stinson Beach several times a year and we always rent from Live Water. The staff there are amazing and do their best to make our day as easy as possible. Even when we have a big group, which isn't easy to get set up with gear, they are so nice to work with."

"Two things disappoint me about this place: 1. $36 for a foam surfboard day rental is nuts, its $20 in pacifica. 2. Last time i rented a board from here i came back to return it at 2pm. There was sign on the door that said they would be back in 15 minutes. They didn’t show up until 2:50pm. We turned in our board and the boards of 2 other customers who left because they couldn’t wait nearly a hour for the staff to return."

"Fyi....take photos of your rentals if you rent from here. Having rented from here today? The sales gal "Kimmy" told us we didn't need to take any photos of the surf boards that my 2 kids were renting. Since my gut instinct was telling me otherwise...I took them anyways. (Fyi? Despite checking the surf boards in with some younger staff who checked the boards over and gave us the thumbs up and then signed us off our paperwork as "no issues" we ended up having to run back to the surf shop last minute due to my daughter forgot her shorts there when she changed into the rented wetsuit.) When we walked back in....? "Kimmy" announces that we need to pay for our damaged surfboards and is super snotty and arms crossed. Surprised since 1.) We were already checked off and signed saying we were ok on the goods we rented we were like ,"ummmm what...?" Kimmy got all demanding in our faces again and told us once again how we damaged the (already heavily damaged) surfboards. I sighed and explained to Kimmy that I took "before" photos and would like to do a comparison since I disagreed with her "assessment." Well...after she looked at my photo..? She realized ohhhhhhhhh. SHE was WRONG:| I'm telling you. The disgusting way she treated my kids and I...? Was just that. Disgusting. Take "before" photos of ANYTHING YOU RENT at this store I am not kidding you. (Especially if you want to enjoy your cashflow, mental status, and joy.)"
