Reviews of Spectrum Pain Clinics, INC.
"I have been a patient for about 2 years. Cody was my provider but has gone elsewhere. I have cancer, severe nerve damage in my back and legs and stage 3 CKD. I have rods in my back and the surgeon at Vanderbilt didn't know if I could walk after my last surgery. The Doctor at Spectrum reduced my pain meds and is pushing injections and will reduce my meds again at my next visit, which will not happen. I will find someone with compassion for someone in severe pain.If I could give Dr.Harmon 0 stars I would."
"Ronald Harmon definitely isn't a good provider at Spectrum. He got mad because I refused to get any more nerve blocks in my back so he says talk to your pcp got up and walked out the room. Definitely avoid him at Spectrum"
"Doesn't treat one of the top 10 most painful diseases: Fibromyalgia. Minimizes your pain...wrote it off to age? Im 52.. Chronic pain is NOT a part of aging. Passed me off to another specialist with no specific referral..No name said I would have to go to memphis. This place obviously lacks education. All the reasons I dreaded going to pain mgmt in the first place were exhibited. Don't waste your copay. ABSOLUTELY no compassion."
"I'd give ZERO, if this was an option. Sure they shoot your back with something, which only helped me no more than a 2 week period, with promises of not having to return for at least a year, another untruth. No way to call to speak to a human! My feeling is no humans work there. The atmosphere to the patient is as cold as the waiting room. The back rooms aren't any warmer. Whether is summer or winter, it's always UNREASONABLY COLD in there. Then there's the repetitive questions EVERY TIME YOU GO. I was a patient for over a year, today I wised up and released myself! I'm sure I'm gonna hurt but at least I'll still have my money."
"At my first encounter at check in, I was put off by the desk lady's lack of eye contact. I don't think she looked up at me even once as she took my cards and handed me a bunch of paperwork. Rude. I was wearing a shell, a shirt, a jacket, long pants and heavy socks. It was unreasonably cold in the waiting room and the exam room. I had to go outside to wait. Speaking of waiting ... My appointment was at 1:00, at 1:15 I advised the desk that I needed to reschedule. The lady told me that it would only be a few more minutes. Fifteen minutes later I was headed inside to reschedule but they called me to an exam room. The lady didn't introduce herself and again, there was no eye contact. She looked at the wall, at the computer, at the floor, but no visual acknowledgement to me. Note that this office makes a big deal about patients being late (or not showing up). It was 1:37 before I saw the doctor. He thought that was good timing, not a long wait. I think an appointment for a certain time is when an appointment should be kept. I respect people's time and professionalism is conducting business as scheduled. The doctor did take the time that I needed to explain my concern, less than 10 minutes. The paperwork was very concentrated on a certain subject, maybe because of the nature of what they deal with, I don't know. I was a little uncomfortable in the waiting room. No one did anything wrong or inappropriate. It was just me, I felt like I was out of my element, not what I'm used to in a doctor's office environment."
