"I want to give a shout out to Cassy Thompson of Mt. Juliet Travel for taking care of all of the details for our recent trip to Cancun. My husband and I had never used a travel agency before or even considered taking a trip out of the country. Cassy made us aware that there are last minute, discounted trips that are available and affordable for most any budget. Trust me--our budget was small! And for those of you who are not familiar with Mt. Juliet Travel, you do not pay an extra fee for their service in addition to the trip price. Their commission comes from the resort and the airline directly. Our destination was an all-inclusive resort (room, all meals, all drinks, all gratuities, transportation to and from the airport are included). The only thing we had to do was tell Cassy when we wanted to go (we gave her less than a week's notice!), where we wanted to go and our approximate budget. She did all of the planning, from researching the resorts to booking the flights (included in the total price). Even after we booked the trip, she saved us an extra $300 and was able to upgrade our room to an ocean view. With the money we saved, we were able to swim with dolphins while we were there...something that has been on my bucket list for years. Cassy checked on us the day before our flight to make sure we were all ready, the morning of our flight to let us know our flight was on time AND she even checked us in for our return flight while we were there so we did not have to worry about that detail while we were lying on the beach! Coordinating all of the details of a trip (especially in another country) can be overwhelming. Do yourself a favor and let Cassy take care of EVERYTHING for you. She went above and beyond for us and simply could not have been more wonderful or more helpful."
