Reviews
"Service was great, the waitress was friendly and quick! The atmosphere is nice overall but the place was too loud to my preference- both music and people. The food looked good but was a bit bland to my taste. We thought it lacked ingredients/ good flavors."
"Great location. Cool ambiance. Food missed the mark. All dishes were bland. Chicken dish was rubbery and meatballs had bone and cartilage. The fried zucchini blossoms were actually good."
"Authentic Roman cuisine with spectacular artichoke appetizer, delicious nhoque, my chicken with prosciutto was fabulous. Service was also premium. And yes I will be back absolutely, but maybe for lunch or for dinner but earlier because honestly was extra loud to a point that my group couldn’t hear each other."
"This is the latest restaurant to give it a go at the space once occupied by Cafe Gratitude. The theme is traditional Roman food. The food is very good. Nicely executed carbonara although pales in comparison to Al Dente's. The saltimbocca was nice. And the suppli -- fried rice balls with peas and a marinara sauce -- was a tasty appetizer. The food was very nice and arguably better than what you'd get at other Italian restaurants in Little Italy albeit not particularly memorable. That said, I would happily come back here. Service was excellent. The restaurant is loud and boisterous."
"Great food, service, and atmosphere . Best carbonara I’ve had in San Diego, perfectly cooked pasta and sauce. Cocktails were great as well especially the chocolate Negroni. Owner was super friendly, our group had a great time here."
