"Just noticed that I hadn't updated my rating for this place. I started going to Michael's after I moved to the area in 2015. Maggie was my manicurist and did a fantastic job. When I would call to make an appointment, I found I needed to ask to speak to her directly as Michael would sometimes "forget" to tell her or double book. Michael was often rude to customers and would get into loud, angry spats with some of the employees in their native language. I always felt this was very unprofessional, but I really liked Maggie and continued to go to her. My husband and I would make appointments for pedicures in advance and Michael would often make us wait behind groups of people who were walk-in's (more money?). We put up with that once or twice and got fed-up and went to another spa. (By the way, we were really good tippers.) I continued to go to Maggie until Covid showed up and she never went back to work there. I will never set foot in Michael's again! I saw that there might be a new owner, but I now go to a fantastic spa where the owners and staff are all friendly, kind, and do fantastic and competent work. Update 2/15/2024. I really appreciate the new owner's response to my review and it sounds like they are doing a better job of running this business than Michael did. I wish them every success in their new endeavor."

"Hot tip; bring cash! Better for them and save you money Megan and her husband killed it today! She worked on my daughters nails and made them look natural and dainty! As for mine, I told him I wanted that “90’s sitcom Carry Heffernan French tip” and he went above and beyond! Not only is it everything and more, but he didn’t try to make my very large hands look smaller by using smaller tips like other places do, he actually used nail sizes that fit and embraced the size of my nail beds and they look amazing! Really excited to see how these last for her as she plays softball and for me and my blue collar job. They also provided beverages And comfortable pillows to lounge in. The atmosphere was relaxing The prices as expected And everyone there is super friendly I normally just come in every six months for a pedicure But I’m now going to be coming in as needed for my fills"

"I gave this place a fair chance. 1st I’ve never in my life of getting nails had almost all my nails pop off before my next fill then go in & be told I need another new set. I paid for another new set which was $55 & a fill is $50 ? Which doesn’t make any sense I feel like he made up the prices when I asked him. I’m 2 weeks into my new set & one of nails popped off again. He made me bleed & kept hurting me . Will never come back here again."
