Naia Dentistry and Implant Solutions

"I had high hopes after the change in office/name, but after thousands of dollars and almost a year long process my implant and three new crowns look worse than my original bridge. Granted, my case was complicated, but matching the shade and shape to an existing crown should not be. Comments from friends and family have been that it looks like my teeth are going "bad". So very upsetting considering the time and money I have invested and when I asked to have this made right, I was told that it just a lighting issue (which it's clearly not) and it would cost hundreds of more dollars."

"Made an appt with SLO peak dentistry at end of last year for Feb. During that time period they changed their name and location, be aware that these google reviews are for Peak dentistry that is now renamed Naia. Naia has just absorbed the reviews from Peak dentistry which most were from previous dentists that were formally in the group. I am new to the area and did a general search for a new dentist and based on google reviews, Peak dentistry seemed pretty good, but if you look on yelp, which I did after the appt, they are mostly bad. To be fair, I do not enjoy going to the dentist and told the hygienist that I have moderate anxiety during the history. There were several things that went wrong including technical issues with their equipment and hygienist not being familiar with an instrument used to scan your teeth. After being gagged with the equipment and continually knocking my teeth with the wand she brought in someone else to try and finish the scan, at that point it had been 15 min of trying to get it to work and finish the scan. I finally said “I’m done” I didn’t get upset just flatly that I did not want that large wand in my mouth any longer. Dr. Yu came in, was upset that I didn’t let them finish the scan. He was condescending and not at all empathetic that I just had a bad experience. There is quite a bit more to this story but wanted to keep it brief. I would not recommend this office based on multiple issues and wish I had known about the other reviews before I scheduled."

"Great staff, a awesome team at SLO Peak Dentistry, from the excellent front desk gals to the back office team, timely, proficent, and informitive, Alex did a great job on my first visit and cleaning my teeth."

"The dentist attentive. When I asked him questions or had concerns he explained it completely so I was comfortable with the answers. I hadn’t seen the entire head ex-ray and I was intrigued with the results. The hygienist was very thorough and did an excellent job with minor pain. Michelle at the front desk was competent and very friendly. We liked her. We are very happy and will return."

"My words can't express how impressed I was with the implant. I was horrified to have this procedure so much I postponed it for almost a year. The staff was so understanding and caring and all my anxiety was such a waste of energy because it truly was painless, and it could not have been a better experience. Hands down, this is the best dental office in all of San Luis Obispo County and beyond. I do not write reviews but have to share this for people like me that have a fear of dental procedures. You will have the best care."
