"This is a difficult review to write. We have loved this clinic and the doctor Kalekaar who saved mg daughters life 7 years ago when she was born failure to thrive. We have been a loyal family for all pediatric needs. Took my daughter there for a UTI. Fast forward to shortly after that and I started the fight of my life while battling Non Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Trying to live to be here to watch the same daughter grow up. Apparently I missed or didn’t receive a bill with a $160 balance. I also don’t answer phone calls labeled as possible spam and I NEVER received a phone call from them. But received a certified letter day before yesterday dated 2 weeks prior that they would not longer be willing to see my daughter and had 30 days to find a new pediatrician clinic. So actually only 15 days since they waited so long to actually mail it. We have always paid our balance prior or taken care of it in full at our next visit. Had they actually called me from VIP mid South I would have gladly taken care of it instead of some spam listed number. Their accounts receivable department has always been rather rude If I called about a bill question, in the past 8 years we have seen them. I’m sure the Doctors don’t have a part of this. But this was determined by them after just a brief handful of months. I doubt even if they have called and actually talked to me they would have had any Grace while I have been fighting for my life. Oh my husband was hospitalized for 34 days in this period of time as well. We will miss Dr Kalekaar tremendously and always be grateful for him Saving by baby in 2015. Keep treating people like the admin does and will probably find Dr K affiliated with a different clinic and be able to get back in when him. My recommendation since you deal with the admin more than you do the medical staff is drive through couple miles to Tennessee Pediatrics you will be much happier when the Grace they treat their families with."

"It’s virtually impossible to get your kids an appointment. Forget it trying to get in on weekends. Lines open at 12:30 and you finally get through to someone by 1:00 and they are fully booked and your only choice is urgent care or wait until Monday. Looking for another provider."

"Took my child in for a well check up. My insurance pays well checks at 100% - so was confident it would be covered. Turns out they asked a few questions about if my child was hyperactive etc. I responded, "no".....and someone it is common practice for them to bill that as an extra evaluation. Meaning - my free well check up for my child wasn't free. After talking to billing and the office - they rudely told me that they often ask screening questions and those are most assuredly always billed as extra assessments that are NOT covered as a regular well check. Beware that taking your children in for free well checks will not be free here. Boo VIP Midsouth Hendersonville!!! Be prepared to pay EXTRA for every question they may ask."
