Reviews of Village Primary Care
"I've moved around and bit and had a number of doctors. Dr. Nordquist is by far the best doctor that I have ever seen. I would compare Dr. Nordquist to the old-school family doctors, who know you by name, care how your family is doing, and go the extra mile to ensure you're ok. He lives in Pleasant View, so he actually has a vested interest in taking care of those in his community. I have been a patient for a little while now and could not be more satisfied with my care/treatment. Most doctors don't care to listen to your symptoms or take the time to really dig in and see what the issue may be. They rush to prescribe something or often misdiagnose. Dr. Nordquist is very methodical, logical, and determined to treat every patient as if they are his family. This practice has saved my life. You can try others, but you will absolutely NOT find a better doctor/practice than this."
"I was a patient here for 2 years and I loved my doctor. Ever since he left I’ve found them to be nothing but personally, racially, and politically insensitive. All around just very unprofessional. But for the record I’ve always found the receptionists very kind and helpful."
"Beware of their allergist. I went in for testing and she and I had a great conversation about immunotherapy, how it works over time, how different allergens work, etc etc. She was really knowledgeable, friendly and easy to trust. I signed up on a Thursday. Over the weekend I mentioned it to a friend who had done similar injections. She started telling to me about the side effects her doctor had reviewed with her, none of which I had heard from my allergist. I did more research and found that pregnancy is not recommended on this treatment - a treatment which lasts 2 years. My husband and I are trying for a second baby, so that was not going to work for me. I called in that following Monday to let her know I didn't want to do the treatments because I hadn't been informed of the risks. I acknowledged that because I had agreed to the treatments, I understood I'd be responsible for some of the payment. She said it was too late and the claims had already been submitted and I would need to pay the full amount. I will be billed $355 per month for the next six months, despite not wanting nor using the injections. It's a super unfortunate situation, but she wasn't sorry at all. Not even empathetic. What upset me the most was after the fact, she falsely claimed that we'd had a conversation about pregnancy. Our "conversation" consisted of her asking me if I was currently pregnant and me saying no. This occurred during a series of yes or no questions about my general health, not a pregnancy conversation. In the end, I felt like she deliberately left out important information to make a sale. I imagine it's a feeling similar to buying a lemon from a used car salesman. You're helpless and they know it and wave your contract in your face when you ask about it. This is pretty much what she did when I called her to discuss it. I've been to a lot of doctors and have always believed they were giving me all the information I would need to make the right decision for myself. I learned my lesson with this woman. Sadly some healthcare professionals are most interested in the bottom line. It cost me $2,000 for a product I have never used to learn from this mistake."
"I was very impressed with my first visit. First of all the office building is super pretty and has some healthy soaps, lotions, essential oils, and other cool things you can buy or look at while you are in the waiting room. Everyone that I came across from the receptionist, the nurse, the phlebotomist, the lady you check out with, and the nurse practitioner was so kind and helpful!!! So glad I decided to come here."
"Dr. Fred has Always been professional, caring and best of all, he actually Listens. He has taken care of my whole family and makes sure your Labs are done, on-site, which I think is a vital tool/exercise to give Complete care in a timely matter. Other doctors should take note of his and Angela's office. They got it right."
