"I went 8 months with a severe and painful jaw infection that no one would touch, even though I was in the ultimate pain for so long. Dr. Wearda, my true hero, pulled one of my teeth which alleviated the massive pressure and that showed my jaw was filled with abscess. No other Dentist would help me, but Dr. Wearda did. He put me on antibiotics for the infection and it healed, finally. I owe a great deal of complete gratitude to Dr. Wearda who had the empathy to understand the kind of pain I was in and to do something about it. I will never forget this wonderful dentist! "I had no idea the state of my teeth until I went to another dentist. I only went to another dentist because my tooth pain was dismissed, even though the xray clearly showed a large abscess. An antibiotic and 48 hours later, I was sleeping in the shower because the pain was so bad. I called them. I pleaded. They said I would be fine. That was the start of a 6 week journey through two antibiotics (both for 5 weeks), two steroid packs, a root canal, tooth pull then an apioectomy. I have no feeling in 1/4 of my face because the abscess was so large and pressing on my nerve. Now I start the long process of getting my teeth and gum health back up to snuff, meanwhile I am just now coming off all the medication and am still suffering the effects."
