"Last Wednesday I went in to AFibulation. This is a deadly medical issue. Hippies is less than 1000 feet of my home so ambulance service took me there to be stabilized. The ER IS NOT PERMITTED TO PROVIDE EMERGENCY MEDICAL CARE PER THE ADMINISTRATOR. They weren’t allowed to provide me with oxygen or a PAP machine to help me breath and after 30+ minutes suffering from not being able to breath sent me an hour and a half away in worse condition when I came in. The Ambulance was going way over speed limit trying to get me to the NASHVILLE Southern Hills Hospital before I actually died. This place provides MALPRACTICE MEDICAL CARE."

"I have been to St. Thomas Hickman ER many times with my parents. It is quality care, has friendly staff and provides thorough explanations in a language that patients’ understand. The inpatient staff is also great. St Thomas Hickman can provide inpatient rehab services to patients so they don’t have to go to Life Care or NHC."

"I am blown away with some of these reviews. I have been to this ER twice in truly emergency situations. Both times I was treated with respect and professionalism. I was made comfortable, kept warm, treated medically, always asked if I needed anything else. The first time I did not have insurance but I was treated no different than this time with good insurance. Yes I would recommend this ER to anyone that needs medical emergency help. I was transfered on to Nashville the first time but got to come home last night. The first time my phone died and the nurse borrowed a charger from somewhere else in hospital so i could charge my phone. I was able to talk to my family since covid restrictions prevented them from being with me.They were very busy both times but yes they took good care of me."

"Would give this negative stars if I could. Went in the ER here in Hickman for leg weakness and numbness in both legs along with pain, and the doctor came in and barely listened while arms crossed, I knew at that moment I had a doctor that didn't care. After a min or so he gave me a finger and said hang on a sec, and went out of the room.. He never came back in. They did a few scans and the nurse came back in with discharge papers and never said what was wring!! I came to them for help and all they did was send you on my way.. worse hospital EVER.. GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE.. Google could give you a better diagnosis than these guys did"
