"They've lost my business forever. I will never go back there. I would rather make the drive to salinas than use them. The front desk attendant that looks like a camel with her oversized false lashes and huge mole on her face is the rudest monster I have ever had the misfortune to come across. They should simply fire their unprofessional, unknowledgable staff and I guarantee you they will see a return of tons of patients. Apart from rude staff, they try to squeeze in unnecessary procedures to milk you and your insurance of every penny. When you refuse an unnecessary procedure, they turn on you like rabid animals. I'm definitely reporting them to the ADA and others. Update: The business will post a virtue signaling reply with a generic and disingenuous comment asking you to reach out but go on to IGNORE any emails you send them. I sent 3 emails to them and not a single reply. I'm waiting for a reply from ADA and the CA dental board. This is corrupt and scamming dentist office takes grotesque advantage of this community and needs to be shut down."

"From my experience visiting 3 times I have to agree with other reviewers about the staff behavior. Unwelcoming no customer service skills and rude. Medi-cal private insurance or cash it all equals money in their pockets they should treat EVERYONE EQUALLY. I switched dentists. Dr. NGUYEN and his staff at clinica de salud in salinas are amazing. I've had to have many exams n procedures these years and their service is always consistently great and their wirk very satisfactorily. I definitely don't recommend friendly smiles."

"Bad experience with a crowning. The dentist does not take pride for his work. Do whatever you can to go elsewhere. I would not recommend to anyone."

"This dentist is horrible. The front desk people are also very rude. I went in because the hospital took x-rays of my thyroid and noticed my tooth has some decay on it and that could be the cause of my health issues such as sinus infections and respiratory problems and this dentist told me that I DO have tooth decay, but wants to wait a whole year until it gets worse to do new feelings. I have a feeling they turned me down and are rude it’s because I have medical insurance and they are known to treat medical Very badly!!!! They need to be educated more on medical insurance because if you go online IT CLEARLY STATES THAT MEDICAL INSURANCE COVERS FILLINGS AND TOOTH EXTRACT FOR PEOPLE OVER 21 YEARS OLD!!!! But the front desk lady said I can pay out of pocket because I wasn’t under 18!!! They denied me my service and ignored my health due to being poorly educated and lacking empathy. Over heard the front desk ladies gossiping while filling out a form talking about racist stuff too. The staff and dentist don’t care only want money."

"Rude secretaries and bad service are two things that Friendly Smiles should be known for. Save yourself a favor and don't go to this dentistry. Me and my sister had an appointment for cleaning yesterday and we came around 10 minutes late. My mother came with us to our appointment. Even though we came 10 minutes late they made my mother fill out paperwork and they processed us and made us get an exam and x-rays and one of the workers said I was going to get my teeth cleaned the same day, maybe around 10 minutes after my exam and x-rays were done a rude secretary came and told me that my appointment got cancelled. I asked her why and she said because I and my sister came in 10 minutes late. Why did they even accept us if they knew that they were going to boot us out and why didn't they tell us before we were starting to go through the process is beyond me. They probably just wanted some insurance money. Just don't go to this dentistry, there are many other dentists to choose from. The way that one of the secretaries was talking to me and my mother was extremely rude."
