"Front desk nurse didn’t seem to care about what the problem was. The wait wasn’t too long it was about 15mins. We got called back an I didn’t hear the Dr correctly so i asked to make sure she said my last name, she said “uh yea?”, looked at me like I was dumb and rolled her eyes. Didn’t feel welcomed by THE DOCTOR (of all people) at all. The dr was actually disappointing an seemed like she could honestly care less about anything. If she didn’t want to work today, she could’ve called out. Oh and their phone says they are closed but on their door it says open 7 days a week just fyi."
"Courteous service and excellent care. All these ladies were super nice and helped to answer any questions I had. I walked away feeling well taken care of and the provider had my script sent to my pharmacy and even chose the less expensive generic brand (double yay). Super close and easy to schedule, fill out paper work online. Totally recommend!"
"Worst experience. DO NOT GO! I had the worst experience at Saint Francis Urgent Medical Care (Poplar Ave, Memphis TN). I've a laceration on my foot that is kinda short in width but deep in puncture. They watched me come into the office with crutches, nurse stared at me as I struggled to come in. Helped me with the door into the seeing rooms but watched me struggle through TWO doors leaving on crutches with no help. When the doctor came into the seeing room, she talked to me for a few minutes. She would not provide me with a doctor's note because she said "it prevents people from going to their primary care doctor" despite it being a Saturday and I had work at 6AM the next day and not able to put weight on my foot. She told me that she would need an official description of my job signed by my boss to give a doctor's note. I told her I work at FedEx and we are on our feet the WHOLE time. I can't put weight on my foot, still, she refused a doctor's note - adding if she gave everyone a note that their works would call them. I tried pleading that I will go to my doctor, just it was a Saturday afternoon and I could not reach my doctor until Monday but had work Sunday and they don't just take my word for it. She is a doctor and could clearly see my injury. She had no reason to, at the very least, give me a day's note until I could get a longer one from my primary care doctor. They NEVER asked me about my pain level. I have a high tolerance. I have been through over 35-40 burn and plastic surgeries. I typically ask to stop pain meds before the doctor's recommendation. She never asked me about my pain and I was crying. Tylenol at home was not working. I was in severe pain. They did not irrigate my wound, AT ALL. To "clean it" they just put my foot in a bucket of water with soap. They left me in the room for 30 - 45 minutes with my foot soaking in pain from being kept down on the ground and not elevated. Also, the nurse thought my peeling skin was a bandaid and began to peel it off until I screamed in pain, and then she said "oh, I thought that was a bandaid". She also used my foot as leverage to pull out the bandage roll. Only stopping when I cried out in pain. They NEVER gave me any after-care instructions for my wound aside from telling me to redress the wound every 2-3 days. I was given no instructions or supplies on what to do in redressing. They watched me struggle with crutches (that I had brought) to leave. I will never send anyone there."
"It helped that there was no one else in line, but these guys are great! They had me back in a room and being attended to within 5 min of walking through the door. Front desk is friendly and just a great experience overall. Cut finger mended with derma bond. Great nurse with little pain!"
"I very much so liked this location. I liked the nurses. The receptionist was nice. However I didn’t like the doctor Gwen. She was visibly annoyed with me while trying to examine my throat and I couldn’t relax because she was putting so much pressure on me to say “Ahh” correctly. I was trying hard to follow her directions but I was miserable because I was fatigued and apparently had the flu and a fever of 100.2. I wish I remembered my nurses name though, she was gentle and sweet."
