"I had Dr. Hedrick as my Orthodontist for about 5 years. Throughout my treatment, I felt that Dr. Hedrick could not care less about the progress of my teeth. I would go in for my checkups and wire tightening about every 4 weeks and I would ask about my treatment plan. He was very dismissive and rather uninterested like he had better things to do. In my 5th year with him, I continued to see very little progress and ended my treatment with him. I will say I am a POC and I’m am not certain that played a role in my poor treatment, but I have sat back and observed him treat other POC patients in the office dismissively as well. If you’re looking for an orthodontist in the Santa Cruz area I would advise you save years of your life, and choose another, more professional orthodontist in our area."
