"Had a really uncomfortable visit today. First my insurance is out of network, when I made the appointment, they didn't mention anything about it, they have already got my insurance. I have a deep pocket for one of my tooth, Doctor said I could help you to clean it, and after that she put some ozone oil for treatment. During the process, they didn't mention whether I need to pay or my insurance could pay. After the whole process, the front desk person said you need to pay for the whole fee for general visit in advance because you are out of network, insurance company would issue a check to you, and for the deep cleaning part and treatment, they would charge me separately, because they need some attachment for insurance charge. Then she charged me some random money for it because she didn't know how much I should pay, and she mentioned that they would adjust the amount when insurance gets back. The whole process was really unprofessional, I was not told in advance of any payment or out of network insurance. This was the first time I got a dental visit like this, not sure whether I am the only one who met this."
