"Loved my nails, i got medium Gelx with “crushed ice” tips. the nail artist did a great job with her crushed ice technique. my nails here last for sooo long. Love the very fine detailed nail artwork the artists here are able to do!! and its so easy to book an appt and they are pretty transparent with pricing. this is my go to salon."
"I have been a consistent monthly client of CocoChaNails for 3 years now. Over the last few months, I have had a few different issues, that I had decided to overlook because I was happy with the final product - my nails. & as I am sure you understand, nail salons come a dime a dozen today, but it is hard to find that one salon that you can stick to. CocoChaNails was that salon for me, despite issues with rude customer service from the scheduler (important to note: she is only nice through text. Is argumentative with clients in person or will stand in front/hover over you watching what is being done but won't even say "hi," which makes the client feel awkward), being overcharged on several different occasions, & even a trip to the emergency room for a procedure on my toe due to a bacterial infection I got after a pedicure at CocoChaNails. I kept my silence in order to be able to maintain consistency with this salon so that I could avoid having to look for a new place. Unfortunately, these issues keep occurring & I no longer feel comfortable sweeping these things under the rug, as the scheduler has been more & more dismissive throughout time, not only with myself but with others as I have seen on many different occasions at the salon. There have been several different times I was overcharged for the length of my nails, which may not seem like a big deal, but these $10, $15, $20 additional charges each time really add up. I finally spoke up & put my finger on the scale that is laminated on every work station, that shows the additional costs per length. The scheduler, instead of simply refunding me the difference as I'm clearly showing her my nails were under a certain measurement, became very defensive & even said that the salon does not actually use that price scale, so..false advertisement? My most recent appointment with this salon was this past Sunday, 11/26/2023. I was again overcharged, brought this to her attention & she was again dismissive, did not offer a solution or even apologize for overcharging me again. I asked her for a way to contact the owner, or at least a manager above her, & received no response. I went to their website & sent an email, where I received a very generic response, still not acknowledging their wrongdoing or offering a remedy, but then a sassy "clap back" from John shortly after. I'm not sure why, as business owner(s), they are so rude & respond as if they were personally attacked, rather than acknowledging honest feedback that was certainly delivered in a respectful manner, but it totally makes sense why some of their best nail techs are no longer working at this salon & why so many people have decided to take their business elsewhere. Based off of not only their response to me, but also the responses left to people on Yelp who leave negative reviews as well as the responses to other people who have screenshotted & shared their responses across social media, it is very clear customer service is not their thing. Not to mention, this salon occasionally has a "promo" where in exchange for leaving them a 5-star Yelp review & showing it to them once it's posted, they discount your price."
"I came in for a fill and I was told $70 including the design below. Then during the fill I was told actually let's do a new set it's the same price. I'm then told you're finished and only have one design and no French tip. Then when asked to have the design removed I was told I'd be charged $5 to remove the design plus an addition $15 to add the French tip. They in no way were accommodating me and acted as if my request was unreasonable. I sent the design ahead of time and wasn't told that they couldn't complete the design."
"I have been coming here for over two years and after today I will not be back. The owner was rude and called me girl when speaking to me. she also chuckled a few times when trying to argue with me. She also told me my regular nail tech won’t be back for a while and I could read the text messages on her phone if I want to verify. Like what what kinds of customer service is that. She then proceeded to tell me it was my verbiage that made the mail tech cut my nails to short. Like what she’s a nils tech I gave her specific instructions if she can’t follow them maybe you need another tech. This was the only experience I’ve had in the last two years with the owner and it was absolutely horrible. I ended up having the mail tech take my nails off . The owner was like that’s fine she can take them off and walked away. They need to treat their customers better and if their staff don’t speak English then maybe they need to teach them so there is no misunderstanding with customers. The price have been inflated in this salon a lot lately so it’s probably for the best. I will never recommend anyone here again!!!!!"
"I had never done acrylic nails before. I didn't like the idea of dealing with fragile fake nails and looking horrible when a nail breaks. I finally got it done for the first time at this place. They copied the design very well (not pictured). I was very careful for 2 weeks then resumed Operations as usual. I did the dishes, scrubbed pans, accidentally hit my nails on furniture all the time yet the design and nail never chipped. It lasted 3 weeks. Could have been longer but I wanted to remove it. I went most recently yesterday. To make an appointment you need to text a number, they will ask for pictures of what you want. I asked for an appointment the same day and got it. I sent in a few pictures. I wanted the ombre of one picture, the color combo of another, the design of another picture and a symbol. My nail technician did a very good job doing what I asked for. (And every technician so far has been great with nail art). I would let her know when I wanted something done differently or better and she obliged with 0 attitude or push back. I really appreciated this as I'm usually shy and this is something I'll wear for a few weeks. She started getting into it and doing things i had not asked for but would really compliment the design. I was very happy with the results (see posted picture). I am not too familiar with prices since I only get my acrylic nails done from them. The set from yesterday was $82. I've had simpler designs done with them and it was around $60 if I recall correctly. Seems reasonable when comparing to other places. At a previous appointment they were running late and I was not happy about it, im usually on a time crunch. They gave me a discount on my nails. I was not expecting the customer support. I will continue to get my nails done here even though there are so many options closer to home."
