"I found out My friend had been dismissed . But i asked Tonya Vaughn ,the receptionist , if she would mind looking up T Mobil phone number because for the 3rd time my phone said you phone will not be in use for 15 minuted. She let me talk to them , then she tried to have an on line chat with them , and there is much more to the story but my point is Tonya is an example of customer care and a person of compassion. She always stopped to help anyone that approached her desk but then returned to help me after they were taken care of. I thank Tonya snd West Tn Health Care for going beyond to help me!"
"This rating is based SOLELY on my experience TODAY. First impressions can "make it or break it" for a business, therefore it is important to choose wisely those people who will be the face of your company, the first person that your customers meet. Today, Hannah Lowrance failed miserably at representing West Tennessee Healthcare. Her only job is to greet the customer, ask how she can help them, ask them to sign the check-in log and provide them with directions to where they want to go. Today, I approached the desk and smiled at her. She asked what I needed. I told her I was there to go to the rehab department. Instead of directing me to the sign in book, she asked who I was going to see. I told her I was there to see the rehab staff. She still didn't direct me towards the sign in book but just sat there staring at me with an annoyed look and as if she was not going to let me past the front desk. Not saying one single word, she remained planted to her perch, frowning and glowering at me. So, I continued my explanation...'I am trying to visit the rehab staff. I am an ex -employee who used to work here. I'd like to go to the rehab department to visit the other staff members.' At this point, she says, "I don't know why you're talking to me like that! I don't KNOW you! The sign in book is over THERE!" She points to the book (FINALLY), directing me to it, but not without an eye roll and MUCH intonation! I asked, 'Ok, but what do you mean by that? How am I talking to you? I don't understand. What do you think I'm saying to you that is out of order? Can you explain to me how you think I am talking to you?' She never responded. Instead, she picked up the phone and began talking to someone, ignoring me as if I wasn't standing there, as if I hadn't asked her a series of questions. Just BEYOND RUDE!!! I wonder if she treats EVERYONE like that or if that special breed of rudeness and contempt is reserved for certain people? West TN Healthcare, PLEASE reconsider your receptionist/greeter! This person is NOT a good representation of the type of compassion, care and friendly disposition that is usually synonymous with your facility and it's workers. I have been on both sides of the table; as the family member when both my father and my aunt had strokes and were patients there, also as a rehab therapist/employee there. I KNOW firsthand the kind of attitude and care that should be presented to others! What was shown by this particular receptionist, isn't it! Now, as for the therapy staff and medical doctors...TOP NOTCH! CAN'T BE BEAT! Just work on that other thing please!"
"I recently stayed at this facility. I found all my nurses to be knowledgeable and caring. My therapists were professional and operated with a high degree of integrity. The staff were always eager to help. I can say my stay was a good an experience as I could ask for. I will be forever grateful to the entire staff at West Tennessee Rehabilitation Hospital for the care I received and the manner in which I received it."
"The care my husband has been given and the overall cleanliness of the facility and professionalism of the staff has been extraordinary! We are blessed to have such great care so close to home. Wonderful therapists, nurses, and all others involved in his care. Dr. keeping and NP Tonya Logan have been phenomenal as well. We can not recommend this facility enough."
"My husband spent some time here after bilateral knee replacement. He was impressed with the physical therapy staff and the facility. The food, nursing staff, doctors, and everyone involved in his stay were top notch. He especially liked the team approach to physical therapy. The physical therapist and occupational therapist were easy to work with and genuinely seemed to care about his recovery. He is not easily impressed but was with this facility and staff."
