"I took my son to the emergency department last night. He was real sick and had a fever and asthma. The doctor must have been wanting to be off for super bowl Sunday because he was rude and abrupt saying only two words to us and then leaving. The nurses were so inept that one of them actually asked me how much ibuprofen to give my son. I replied let me call my wife and find out how much she gives him for his weight. She then said will I guess I can google it or whatever. I had to ask the nurse to take his temperature. One nurse who started the IV took two large tubes of blood. When I asked later about blood tests they said “oh the doctor said it was not necessary to do blood tests”. So they took the blood and threw it away. WOW. After a chest xray it was determined that he had the start of pneumonia. I could go on and on about how littering inept they were. I work in health care and the nurses and the doctor had the lowest skill level of any medical staff I have ever seen. Especially the nurses who were like a comedy of errors. They totally did not know how to do their jobs and did not want to be there. Next if anything more than a simple laceration we will by pass Waverly St Thomas until they clean it up. We will go straight to Dickson or Paris."

"Had a follow up with my heart doctor. He is very nice and personable and listens and answers my questions and concerns. His staff is very nice."

"I’ve been doing my labs for years on Saturdays…since I work Monday-Friday 8-5. They “changed the policy” so labs can’t be done on weekends anymore for outpatient…. Even though she was literally doing nothing else at the moment!"

"Great hospital and experience. I came in with my sick one year old, was very frazzled and scared, they were so nice and calmed me down, so good with my baby and very fast care. I usually don't leave reviews but the health industry has changed so much lately and I'm glad I had amazing care in such a scary situation for us moms!"
