"If I could give a zero star I would. I was in visiting a friend from out of state and I was standing waiting for him to open the lobby door and he was just laying back on his phone completely unaware of his surroundings, I called my friend to come down to let me in because the front desk manager his name is RUSSEL was not opening the door because he was so distracted on his phone. We finally got in and accused me of tresspassing? So much more happened with that man he’s a horrible racist man what a way to represent the hotel.!! So disappointed!!"
"Thank you guys so much! Late night check in last night and the staff was super gracious and accommodating to our needs. Which were definitely unique. Great staff tru southern hospitality."
"Pros: Very modern looking hotel. The lobby was awesome! Pool table, air hockey, and foosball in the lobby, along with cool chairs and decor. Cool outdoor area with grill, couch, tables, and chairs. The rooms were clean, beds and pillows were soft. Breakfast had a lot of options and was really tasty. Cons: The customer service from the lady who checked us in was not great. She seemed like she didn't want to be there. She charged my card for the entire stay upon check in, instead of at check out, which was quite inconvenient for me. She didn't even ask which card I wanted the stay charged to, she just charged the card on file, which was not the card I wanted to pay with. Every other hilton I've stayed at asked me which card I want charged. However, the man who helped us at checkout was very friendly. Also: A $3.87 daily fee for parking was added onto the bill at checkout, so the hotel stay cost more than it said it would. It says on their website that parking is $3.87 a day, but there is no indication of their parking fee in their parking lot or in their hotel, so I thought they actually didn't have a parking fee. I am completely fine with a cheap parking fee BUT would like to be informed of the fee before hand, and how much it would add to the cost of my stay."
"Room 433- deadbolt is not functional, it does not line up with the plate on the door jamb. It was not fixed after I reported the problem. The entrance near the breakfast area has an overhang and nice seating area. However it has become the smoking area for guests and employees. Severely allergic to smoke, I cannot use that entrance or seating area. They need to designate aa smoking area away from the entrance."
"My wife and I stayed here for a few days this week for our trip to Nashville. The one gentleman who works the front with the beard was by far the friendliest most welcoming of the people we encountered. That's not to say the others weren't friendly, but he was the best. One thing about this hotel and the other Tru We have stayed at is that they are the cleanest of the hotels we've stayed in. I also enjoy the liquid soap and lotion options on the walls compared to bars and all that are usually left to use. The king bed was wonderfully large, and we could adjust the temperature of our room as desired. The room service for our requested items such as towles was immediate and with a smile. I did not exercise the option to purchase the alcohol, but knowing it was an option was nice. They also even had protein milks for those that need them. While I would make the breakfast time a little longer for those who may be there with kids or like to sleep a little longer (neither of which we did this trip), I really have nothing bad to say about the breakfast. The staff working that area did a great job having everything ready, with great options and tasty food. And they made sure we had all we wanted before they cleaned up. It's one of the best breakfasts of any hotels at which we've stayed. I can't say anything about the pool, but it was outdoors and we didn't use it. I'm sure that would have been nice as well. The only things I can say weren't good were the sneaky parking fee per day and that the coffee was almost empty and it wasn't hot when I went to get it at check out. My wife and I ended up buying coffee on the road. I asked the night before of the coffee is always ready and hot and was told yes. This hotel was clean had a great service, had great options available, and was in a perfect location. Just be aware of the sneaky parking fee. I've never seen that any place else. This would have been a five-star review if it weren't for that fee and the lack of coffee."
