"Cigarette butts in planters INSIDE. Rooms stink dirty floors peeling paint molded caulking in bathroom. Locks on doors don't work. Child got locked in bathroom. Toilet stopped up and seat broken. Advertised pool but NO pool. Staff is rude. Pool out for maintenance like completely... just no pool. Soon as we got there we parked to find open parking in the garage wide open to public. A blacked out new dodge charger blasting loud rap and smoking weed with random people hanging out in the garage. Should have left right then. This place is a disaster. Beyond disgusting. The breakfast was generic the waffle maker is broke and the lid broke off the milk when we went to pour. It doesn't get any worse than this. The furniture is outdated and broken and the windows were filthy. The room had not been cleaned. Beds made up only. I have so many pictures I will be posting on Google. This place is neither safe or clean and the pictures online ARE NOT representative of this hotel. Not even close."
"I’m going to give a 4.5/5 star review and here is why: We are near Opryland Hotel/Opry Mills Mall and not to mention the hotel offers a cheap shuttle to downtown and back. Essentially you get what you pay for in this area. Other reviews state they felt unsafe, but you enter the room from the inside of the building. There are long term guests here but the staff are aware of who these guests are and that is honestly a plus. The hotel staff is friendly and attentive. You really have to understand the area and possible clientele to see that this a little hidden (cheaper) gem in the area."
"Hey, i was a little worried about staying here from the past reviews. But hey i actually don't have too much to complain about. Honestly it was bunch of food options around, not far from downtown, check in was easy, and staff was really nice. The hotel is a little old and rough on the edges but they have a nice little breakfast. I'll stay again."
"I will first say that you should always read reviews and when they are like this, believe it! When we first pulled in my kids thought it was an abandoned building. It’s just old and very ran down. You can tell there’s a lot of moisture because there’s fans everywhere. Check in was great and Larry was great. Walking up to our room I noticed there’s paint chipped on all of the doors. Our room didn’t look bad walking in but the bathroom was disgusting. Literally had feces smeared on the toilet, the inside of the toilet you could tell hadn’t been cleaned in some time. I did inform Larry at the front desk and he personally came up with housekeeping and had them clean it. The couch in the room had stains all over it. The mattresses were absolutely ridiculous! Like sleeping on concrete. I barely slept the entire night because it was so bad. I had 2 teens with me who tried to go swimming and they came straight back upstairs because they said it was dirty and there was towels in the pool. There’s just a lot that needs to be fixed, they need to invest in some new mattresses and the whole place needs a scrub down! I would like to say again though that the front desk clerks were great and just doing the best they can with what they have."
"The facility was dated and showed it’s age, but for the price it’s hard to complain too much. The mattresses leave a lot to be desired as they are thin, simple, spring coil mattresses. They were however clean. There has obviously been some water problems recently as there were fans and dehumidifiers everywhere, but there was no musty smells indicative of long term water problems. A couple of the outlets in the room didn’t work, and I was quite shocked that there aren’t any between the beds. Check in and out were flawless, and staff was courteous. Breakfast was better than most other places I’ve stayed. The only problems there we found were the coffee creamer was empty, and the juice seemed like the mix ratio was a little strong. We didn’t say anything though as it was almost the end of breakfast time, and time for us to go anyways. If you’re in the area for visiting or a concert, while this facility may not be the best of the best, it is definitely affordable, clean, close to activities, has hot showers, and staff were courteous. We were on the ground floor right down the hallway from the pool area, and never heard anyone running the halls or traffic in front of the hotel. I would definitely consider staying here again"
