Comfort Inn & Suites Nashville Downtown - Stadium

"The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. Everything else seemed a little broken. The knob in the shower was loose and there were no handles on the shower doors. The door to the bathroom wasn't balanced so it weighed a ton when trying to close or open it. There were many other small issues throughout the room. The service was fine until we were leaving. Two hours before checkout, and while we were taking our luggage to the car, they turned off our key card. No warning, explanation or even an apology when I walked through the rain to the front desk to get the cards turned back on."

"This Hotel has a great location right across the street to the Nissan Stadium. Was very happy with that, but will never stay here with my family again!! If your of Hispanic descent, and may “look” it I wouldn’t recommend it either! The staff was rude, one in the morning at breakfast we asked her if there was any milk for my 6 year old to eat her cereal and she said NO. There is no milk! After we are almost done with our breakfast she came out and gave all 3 other families with kids cartons of milk and she looked at us with a smirk as we were already almost done… when complained at the front desk the manager did not seem to care… also, we had not even checked out yet and the house keeping threw out 8 brand new water bottles we bought the night before, we had in the fridge! What the heck? We are all born and raised in the USA I personally have not been treated like this at any other hotels, and I have stayed at quite a few… last note they don’t have hot water… the slightly warm water in the shower was cold in less then 5 mins. Definitely not a comfortable stay."

"Pros: if you plan on attending a game at Nissan stadium then this is a perfect location. Short walk across the street. The breakfast was decent especially the biscuits and sausage. They provide 24 hour coffee which was nice. The ladies in the breakfast area were very sweet and helpful. The room was dated but clean. The bed and linens were comfortable. Cons: This hotel needs an upgrade badly. Very dated halls and carpeting. Upon arrival we were not told they had a unit out and we had no hot water. Lots of people were complaining and were told sorry, this has nothing to do with us, it’s Metro whoever that is. My husband had already gone to bed so I decided to stay and see what happened. We did get somewhat warmer water day 2. The heating/air in the room did not work properly. When we walked in it felt like a heat blast. The site is a very sketchy area of town however, there was visible security. It sits near a busy highway in which you hear traffic all night long. The guitar shape indoor pool is a great concept except the pool area was dirty, dated and unkept. I saw two used bandaids on the pool edge. I do not recommend and will never stay here again."

"The staff is very friendly, especially the breakfast staff. The complimentary breakfast is delicious and has good variety. The location is great- just across the parking lot from Nissan Stadium and an easy walk across the pedestrian bridge to downtown. We would stay there again, but will request a room not next to the freeway. We had a lot of traffic noise, but didn't bother to ask about changing rooms."

"Roach warning! If cockroaches don’t bother you, this is a great option for a hotel. We were on the 3rd floor and killed about 5 roaches in our room alone. We saw a few more than that (in the bathroom, in the drawer of the nightstand, on top of the other nightstand). There were also some down by the breakfast buffet which killed our appetite. Part of the reason we booked here was for the breakfast but I couldn’t eat there. Gross! Our reservation was for 4 nights but after being paranoid about the bugs, we ended up checking out 2 nights early and going to a different hotel. Also, the shower door would not stay closed. We ended up shoving a towel under the slider. Not sure how someone is supposed to shower and wash their hair without getting water all over since the door didn’t stay closed. When we booked, the price was $250/night. We ended up at a much nicer hotel for the same cost without the worry of bugs. This place should probably be fumigated and bug bombed!"
