"My stay at Hilton Garden hotel was a mixed experience. The good: + The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable to sleep on. + The large windows were very nice and let a lot of sunlight through. + The location was close to almost everything you would want to go to, and it wasn't more than a 10 minute drive to most places. The bad: - We had to wait an additional hour upon getting there because the room wasn't ready. Didn't mind waiting, but we had booked the room a week early and there shouldn't have been a wait. - After waiting the hour, we were charged a hidden fee of 45$ to park. - The complimentary breakfast was far from complimentary. The floor was shared with another hotel next door which served a variety of good food, but for the Hinton hotel, they had a tiny area that only served oatmeal and biscuits. You were also charged 9$ just to get that. We just ended up going to an actual restaurant to eat. Overall, it was a decent stay, but next time I visit Nashville I will find a different hotel to stay in."
"This is a really nice and clean hotel. The rooms are spacious and beautiful, the beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms are nice. The service and people working are great. However, upon arriving here we were randomly charged $45 for parking. Additionally, they couldn't offer the most basic complimentary breakfast and we were redirected to their overpriced cafe. Hotel complimentary breakfasts are essential to any good hotel."
"We attended the Journeyman Wrestling Duals and were excited to visit Nashville. However, our stay was not nice! We; did not have hot water for 1 1/2 days so had to take cold showers. We were told maintenance had to shut off the water due to hair clogged drains. Our son, a wrestling coach, had NO WATER in his room! The heat kept blowing cold air until we turned the thermostat up to 78 degrees before we got any heat. Lastly, the small round table was not properly connected to its base so my husband had to attach it to avoid spilling his coffee. This hotel was only a year old, but I believe it was not thoroughly inspected prior to the opening, and it was rushed to meet the demand for vacationers. The exercise room was not well maintained so we were not able to wipe down the equipment after using it. The hotel is right next to the freeway so the siren noise woke us up. We have stayed in many, many hotels, all over the world, and this was by far the WORST stay we have ever had!! My husband has told the unbelievable tale of our stay in Nashville to EVERYONE!. The ONLY plus was that the hotel was close to our wrestling venue. Although we were compensated for only 1 night, that was at lease appreciated. But Hilton Inn, you have a reputable name and need make sure these issues are addressed so that others never have to have the same negative experience!!"
"I would not stay here again! The $30 for parking at the hotel I paid over $300 to stay at, in an area with no other public parking seemed like gouging. My main problem with this location is the way the dining is set up. The dining area is shared with another hotel. When you come in to the dining area on the one side there is a large buffet, full of people happily eating and enjoying their meal. The other side, the Hilton Garden Inn side, was almost empty and the breakfast buffet is $9, but eggs and meat is not included and would have to be ordered off the menu for an additional charge. $9 for cereal and bread! It was clear that I had stayed at the wrong hotel! There are many other hotels in the area with complimentary parking and much better dining option"
"If you are a light sleeper, make sure you are NOT in a room facing the freeway. It gets quite loud in the early morning. Mattresses are cheap with not much support. The front desk was not very friendly and didn't tell me a thing about the hotel offers. The hotel is around a year old as of 11/2023 and is a nice property. Nice breakfast and bar area with an outdoor balcony and fire pit. The location is great, and Broadway and Vanderbilt University are just minutes away."
