Americas Best Value Inn Nashville Downtown

"I have been here before rooms were nice clean. But on this particular stay bathroom was filthy. Women at front desk that works nights is just simply rude for no reason. Asked if I could have another room due to it not being cleaned was told no “fully booked” but on website rooms are available. Asked for something to clean with since I was denied a new room was told there were no cleaning supplies so odd. I just wanted to have somewhere to take a shower for the night. But with it being so yucky I am unable to do that. So me getting this hotel was pointless. Was told I would get banned for “complaining” but definitely wasn’t trying to was just voicing a clear issue with room. Either need better housekeeping or another front desk representative that can handle problems appropriately. Wouldn’t recommend price definitely worth it but you can find something better for this same price."

"This is not a bad hotel for the price. However, The lady at the front desk (night shift) is very rude, she treats you as if you’ve done something personally to her! I went out to the vending machine so grab a soda and lock myself out of the room. When I received a new key it didn’t work. I went back to get it fixed and there was a big problem. I was instructed that I’m NOT supposed to leave the hotel once in, because it’s “winter” and that’s why the new key Isn’t working. I was also told that I won’t be able to purchase another room in the future because of this. (I) didn’t plan on the 2nd key not working so I apologized to her for the inconvenience (even though that’s what she should have been doing to me) and she just walked away. Look, I spend money here. How am I supposed to know that I can’t leave the room once I enter? Most hotels you are able to go as you please."

"This room served a purpose as the only room we could get as the CMAs were on. The beds were comfortable and linen clean, and the bathroom was spotless. However, the carpets were gross, and the doors had massive dents in them."

"Horrid experience! The toilet wouldn't flush the paper at all and barely flushed urine. The female that works the front office was ignorant and disrespectful, she expected us to plunge the toilet but then stated that she didn't have a plunger. We ended up leaving not even 3 hours after checking in. The sheets on 2 of the beds looked like they had not been changed one had a mark on it that you might see on the back of someone's dirty underwear (skid mark).They say they have security however the people that loitered on the stairs and wandered around were definitely not doing some sketchy stuff. If you're looking for drug deals and to get robbed this is the place for you. Disclaimer: I am from a bad neighborhood and a block that has drug dealers and this place made me uncomfortable between the unsanitary environment and unsavory characters."

"Rooms not stocked properly, and covers stink. Also Wrong part of town to be in. Definitely not family friendly. Also bring your own toilet paper cause when you run out your not getting anymore. Asked front desk for some and she gave me a half of a roll and told me to wait for housekeeping, which never came. So NO I don't recommend anyone staying here"
